deommanuel: Thanks @deommanuel. I have gotten submission confirmation, biometrics completed and request letter for IELTS and mybank statement. I did not respond to the request letter, which was supposed to expire January 8, and up till now my application status is showing “your action is required”. Also, my eligibility review has not even started at all, what is written there “we will send you a message when your eligibility review has started”. My application time lines: Application submitted: November 4 Submission confirmation: November 4 Biometrics completed: November 6 Request Letter: December 8 (with 30 days ultimatum) Request letter expiration date: January 8 Application status as at now: 1. Your action is still required 2. You will be sent a message when your eligibility has started. Doesn’t this mean that even after 2 months the normal processing has not even begun?! Dear Gurus in the house, please I need your assistance, please. 1 Like 1 Share |

herbDean101: Yes, you need to include the receipt as evidence. Try and do the transfer using the internet banking app that will generate a receipt or you pay in at the bank. We don’t know why Abuja is faster but track record and experiences of people have shown that so far Abuja has been faster than Lagos. 1 Like |

Yteem: Thank you!. One more thing, I'm thinking of renewing my passport before sending it in, because the expiry is getting close, and I don't want it to limit the time. Does anyone have any experience renewing their passport during this(student visa) process, does it affect anything, do I need to notify IRCC after the renewal? 1 Like |

Baphil: Hello Baphil, You don't necessarily need to mention your US citizen child in your application. However, do well to make the VO understand how he will fair or his wellbeing will be cater for. Prior after your visa has been approved, you can email IRCC on his behalf to be exempted from the travel restriction and request for an "Authorization to Travel" letter be approved. Best of Luck |

Michealoladapo1: Hello Michealoladapo1, As long as you're able to satisfy all or some of the crucial requirements (funds, purpose of study, home ties), you stand a chance. However, the guarantee isn't certain whether or not you meet all the requirements. In otherwords, just package your application to the best of your knowledge and hope for the best. Ultimately, remove Health Administration from the list of prospect course and replace it with other course related to your current experience domain. Best of Luck 1 Like |

Good day to gurus on this loop, @lekkiboboe @olasubomy @otunbaTee @frankrobbn1 I would love to hear your opinion on my application process, I applied on the 1st of December 2020 (study visa) (No upfront medical) but during the process of applying I didn't upload any documents on optional documents. So same day a friend of mine says I should raise a webform which I did. I used the webform to send my landed property, business registration document, statement of purpose and the institution school fees receipt... after three weeks IRCC sent me a mail that those documents has been received and it has been sent down to my visa processing center which is Nairobi Kenya and am expecting IRCC to update it on my account which they didn't do. Ever since then I haven't received any feedback from them although my application just reached 2 months and 1 week plus Please I need your opinion... Thanks. |

mictaby: Hello Mictaby, This is what I will do: Write a concise LOE thoroughly explaining why the NSE request couldn't be responded to. Remind the VO that the deadline has elapsed and that the commencement of the academic window is already at sight. Then entreat earnestly for the resumption of the application processing to begin. You can use either or both email and CSE to achieve this means. Best of Luck 2 Likes |

Greetings Great Minds, Sir JustMellow, I have similar scenario. Just thinking out loud; do i have to wait until the 30 days ultimatum is reached before sending in a detailed LOE explaining why i won't be able to submit IELTS, indicating my preferred interest to have my application processed using the normal route? Is there any harm doing this? Many thanks. JustMellow: |

Hello house. I am so grateful i stumbled on this thread. I studied Industrial Physics and graduated 8years ago. However for the past 6years, I have been working as a school administrator and I really love my job. I intend to go to Canada for my masters and I want to go for a masters in early childhood education. Do I stand a chance of being given admissions or I should go back for a masters in Physics? Mind you, I do not have any certificate in childhood education or in education for that matter. Secondly, are there legitimate and recognized school agencies in Lagos that can help process my admissions? If not, how do I start the process myself? Just point me in the general directions and i will find my way from there. Thank you. |

Thaiy: Hello Thaiy, On the exception of BS, some of the required documents may be different based on individual situation. I will quickly drop some list, but however, you should surf the thread to see other people's application profile. This will help you make sense of your own application. • Source of Funds Proof: Bank Statement, Business Registration Certificate, Employment Letter, Promotion Letter, ID, Letter of Introduction, Business Receipt, Tax Clearance/Certificate, Purchase Receipt, Evidence of Business Online Presence, Staff Directory Information on Employer's Webpage etc. • Economic Level of Establishment Demonstration: Land Property (rental) documents, Investments, Socio-cultural/-economic Organizational Membership, Evidence of Previous Financial Commitment, Proof of Sponsorship Commitment etc. • Proof of Relationship: Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Family Tree Sketch, Baptismal Card/Certificate—if the said person acted as the sponsor/godparent, Old/New Pictures etc. Other: Letter of Sponsorship, Letter of Support, Deed Gift etc. Best of Luck 3 Likes 1 Share |

nike66: Hello Nike66, If you don't meet the required band in each test module, your have the choice to retake or let your application to be processed through the Regular Stream. Though IRCC hasn't been following the NSE requirements, esp for IELTS in which some few applicants obviously got positive responses after submitting a test report with 5.5 in two or one band module. Following suit will be to your own discretion. Best of Luck 1 Like |

mrkingz: Hello Mrkingz, Go ahead with the LOE, there is no harm doing so. Its either acknowledged or not. To my understanding, numerous of those applications with NSE request were still being processed despite the 30 days pending warning. Best of Luck 2 Likes |

spiceeamiee: Hello Spiceeamiee, Welcome to NL. You don't need an agent (except for some personal decision) for either visa or admission process, its well simplified. Go for programs that is in line with your work experience as a School Administrator. Early Childhood Education is good, but more better if in your 6years experience, you have worked directly with children or kids with special needs and can present evidence. To begin, use Google to search for courses related to School Administrator thereafter in another tab, search for universities in Canada that offers Masters in the "related programs search results." Then you can begin to scrutinize the choices. Cc: Lekiboboe kindly assist Spiceeamiee Best of Luck |

Please I need help with making a decision. I am in the express entry pool with a CR's of 443. Trying my hand also at study route to. I am a registered nurse (2O12), with less than a year experience , also a dietitian, yet to be registered. Internship in view. I applied to st. Xavier uni for accelerated nursing and didn't get the admission because my school of nursing is not recognised as an internationally recognised institution. So j am afraid to apply for another school for nursing. So went for memorial university masters in public health nutrition and dietetics. Still waiting for their decision. Should I still try nursing because that is exactly want I want to do in Canada or be positive about the MUN admission. |

herbDean101: When is your current passport expiring? You need to consider the time frame for renewal. The submission of passport for stamping has a given period of 30 days. Will you be able to renew your passport and submit before the expiry of this 30 Days? If yes, then I think you can go ahead to renew, then once you get the new one send a mail to IRCC to inform them and also then submit the new one for stamping. If I am not mistaken, I think this is how it can be treated. Kindly wait to also hear from others. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Yteem: 1:12pm On Feb 10, 2021 |
mastmony: I think this means, your passport which you submitted for stamping has been received back and stamped. It will soon be shipped back to you. |

Good afternoon all Please I've been following for some time but am currently in a very difficult corner. My study visa application was rejected early October last year for just one reason which I clearly understand but the thing now is that my agent is requesting for some submission fee which I don't have. I know I can do the visa application myself but am scared and do not know Jack on how to got about it though I processed my admission myself as well as booking my biometrics appointment. Lastly I want to state that for my study I have my in law sponsoring me with a good source of income and with a statement of account showing 10m+, I have paid $5,100 CAD deposit out of $11,240 CAD yearly tuition for a 3years diploma course which it my first post secondary study and am just 23. Please any great insight will be of help please as all my documents are ready. |

mictaby: Hello, There have been two or three persons with a similar case here in recent times. What does "Review of Additional Documents" say? Whatever the case, you'll have to be patient. It's possible some processing is going on at the backend. Plus your processing timeline has not exceeded the official 13 weeks Timeline. Just keep praying for a positive response. IT WILL END IN PRAISES IN THE SHORTEST POSSIBLE TIME 1 Like |
