I joined this thread September 2020 after i got rejected of a canada student visa, my plan was to go for masters in Uk September 2021 but as God will have it, canada refunded my fees earlier than i thought and admission came through with UK, all through to paying school fees through form A, to proof of funds, to CAS, mehn it was just God ( don't let anyone tell you it's easy) lol i even had delay in collection of my Visa..

Filled in my application- 20th January 2021
Biometrics- 21st January 2021
Collection- 8th February 2021 (12 days after biometrics)

Everything came through for me despite all odds, I wasn't even expecting it, as at the 9th day after biometrics when I wasn't getting any feedback as regards my application, i had to put a call through to UKVI where i was told decision hasn't been taken yet on my application (omo i wanted to ment lol) . She said she will escalate it.
So this morning i decided to put another call through, and i was told a decision had been taken, funny part to it when i collected my passport, it was stamped 26th January (3rd day after biometrics).
I want to thank everyone, those still expecting, your goodnews will come, i also want to thank Victor, dude actually encouraged me through the waiting stage.. God bless

It doesn't matter if your experience comes through self-employment, put it on your CV and make an application to any university you choose.

In this case i dont think Admin Review is the best except you can prove otherwise that these were not your answers.............. if i were you , i would go with reapplying instead of AR. however to reapply you have to be ready for the interview part and be very prepared this time around. I’m not sure if they have one, you can get that done outside the embassy.

I suggest you renew the passport else very soon your kid will be travelling with two passports.

Contact either the Portuguese or the Brazilian embassies and ask if they've got a translator they can recommend to you.
If not, you have to go online and search for someone based outside the country who will charge you significantly higher, in the range of 40 - 50 euro per page.

@justwise, if they can play or review the recording, very sure of what I said. Haba, how would I say phishing is ‘When you are true person sending the mail’. I said phishing is when someone is using another person identity as if he is the actual person sending the mail, gave him an example of like somebody is using someone email to get information from another person as if he is the true owner, sending the mail to gather information.
He asked me DOS attach, I said denial of services is when the authorized user was denied access to computer resources, and the computer resources may be software or hardware like printer, network bla bla. . . . Although didn't get this 100%.

@ Lagosismyhome, by the way, I understand your point, is it possible to re-apply immediately, I read that CAS can only be used once, Also, is it possible to re-apply and at the same time apply for AR

If u live in Abuja, they have these certified translators close to the Min of Foreign Affairs or u call up the embassies and ask, alternatively you can use any translator in your city as long as you can confirm they are certified, that’s all. I have submitted translated documents to embassies at different times, I dnt think I went through too much hassle.

Hello gurus in d house...I've graduated since 2010 and I'm holding HND in civil engineering and I graduated with upper credit. I've been working in construction field for 9 yrs but no evidence to support it. How can I apply for a master degree since I don't have any evidence to prove the experience because I've been working as a building contractor on my own for more than 4 yrs since I left my boss i was working with. It's been 10yrs I left sch, can I apply for a master's program or I should go for a top up degree?Any advice on what to do and any advice on sch plz

You have no problem. Just put your work experience in your CV. Your line manager from the two jobs should write reference letter for you certifying your exceptional skills in your work place and your experience.

I don't know why the consular stated things that is totally different from what I said, may be the consular didn't pick my pronunciation.

From your response, I don't think you will win AR. It might be tension that allowed you to say those answer. Mind you it is recorded so don't argue.

Reapply again and this time around know your course modules as this will differentiate your school from other university. Then explain the course modules that attracted you to do the course in that university and not another university that will uplift you for personal development and career in Nigeria and how your current workplace or another job you plan to work for in Nigeria will make you employable. Elucidate it. Don't just list it as it will appear generic.

So sorry about this... If those are not your words and you are sure... Then you should apply for review,....if u ain't sure then re-apply again and be prepared for the interview or you can use the super-priority visa for quick answer.
