You need to do your COVID test at least 72 hours before your flight.

You’re not allowed to bring in any type of food item on board in your luggage... but you’d be allowed two pieces of 23kg of luggage that goes with the cargo; you can put anything as much as you want there except prohibited items up to 23kg for each bags and not more... you can check the website of the airline you’d be using to confirm your baggage and to ensure you’re not carrying prohibited items...

Use your naira master or visa card to buy return ticket on Turkish airlines. When you get to Poland apply for your refund for your return ticket on Turkish airlines website by yourself.

Register a miles and smiles account
Go to feedback
You will see a place where you can contact dem as regards the student discount . Tell dem you are a student and explain to dem you will like to enjoy the student discount
Den Upload your passport, visa and admission letter
They will review your documents and put the discount on your account (takes about 5 days)

I paid application for one of the Uni's in Lublin, 200 euros in full application fee. After applying and taking my money the university wrote and said sorry they will not be running the course because of COVID and offered another useless degree as an alternative. It was an engineering degree. Check if its defo running before they take your money and run. So second time round looked for one with application fee for 20 euros.

I have my employment letter and sponsor letter with physical signatures, but I'm currently in Canada and I mailed it to them late December. But we've been having problems getting appointments and we're worried that when we get one they'll start saying that those letters are too old.

Depends on the country...Some countries do not issue employment certificates because they do exist in some countries, so depends.

Get current hand signed original employment confirmation, or use another sponsor, all does guys at the embassy are fucking strict. don't waste €80 please.

1) Is covid-19 test mandatory for an individual going to Poland? if yes, when should the test be conducted before departure ? I have check the Poland government website (https://www.gov.pl/web/coronavirus/temporary-limitations) regarding current covid-19 guideline in Poland, but I couldn't find the answer there. So those that travel recently could share more light to this.

2) Do they have restriction on particular food item or product during flight and in EU member state. Thanks brother, I have applied for the student discount today via the feedback page. I submitted my passport page, and Visa page including my admission letter. I await their response hopefully in five days.
Nevertheless, I still plan to visit their office (Turkish airlines) tomorrow in Abuja.

I just am scared of travel restriction, that's the reason for the rush. Besides, upon arrival I will do medical screening, and singn some documents in my Research Institute before my official commencement on 1st March.

Please guys, for those that has gotten visa and now in Poland, let's not confuse other applicants and lead them to doing the wrong thing, what works for you doesn't mean it will definitely work for others, moreso the embassy update their requirements daily so let's just drop our opinions and move on please, a wrong info here can lead to multiple denials.
