Inioluwa1: I empathize with you... My two cents that worked for me: Do your upfront medical, get it uploaded and when it has been sent, follow this pattern and format in this link to remind them of your application being past standard processing time with pleading undertones https://www.nairaland.com/6321900/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/228#98846426 IT WILL END IN PRAISE Exactly I was just about to send her the format nah petting and pleas these people need pet them well beg them and just explain your situation as it is if its Kenya your file is send mails to the 3email addresses and send webforms to Kenya only do it early in the morning don't worries it will end in praise pele dear I know and understand the stress!!! 3 Likes |

Lyndaa22: Good day all, I need an urgent advice on my application. I applied by myself on the 10th of September 2020 and my application was rejected on the 17th of September. I was confused because before making the application I showed a lot of experienced agents all my Document and they did some adjustment and they said it was perfect, I was like 90% sure of my profile. After my first application was rejected, I was really sacred so I went through an agent in Canada and she reapplied for me. The time line of my 2nd application goes like this: Application date - 27th September 2020 Biometrics - 2nd of November 2020 NSE request – 12th November 2020 NSE submitted -24th November 2020 Additional document request (Employment letter) – 14th January 2021 Additional document submitted - 15th January 2021 And it was the last I heard from them, no updates at all. I haven’t done a medical upfront although I booked for 18th of February 2021 with the hope that I would have a medical request before then. My agent has sent couple of mails to them, I personally sent webforms but no update yet. My major issue is that I have paid my first term school fees because the school gave a deadline (school fees can be refunded if visa was denied). Lectures resumed on the 18th of January with online classes, because of time difference and work (I work in a bank), I haven’t been attending classes, I just try to read on my own and it hasn’t really been easy for me because the write tests every day, I have missed a lot of test if not all. I tried to defer but the school said they don’t defer and I can’t quit my job yet because if things don’t work out as planned, I would be jobless and you know what it means to be jobless in this country. Honestly this has been a really rough phase for me, I am so confused, I don’t know what to do anymore, my agent keeps telling me to have patience that it would come but the more I wait the more I miss a lot from school which would definitely affect my grades at the end. Is there anything I can do about this situation? Its draining me mentally.
You can do this. It might be hard, but you can. Be courageous and press on. You would receive a response soon, hopefully. I had to work n study last semester, so I know just how it is. Please take the advice of the learned colleagues, do your medicals n send emails. |

I'd suggest you apply for your GCMS notes since you've sent webforms severally without any positive update, you may also consider doing an upfront medicals, maybe that'll fasten the process. Dont worry, you shall Testify this time around, IT WILL SURELY END IN PRAISES FOR US ALL. 2 Likes |

Hello Nike66,
If you don't meet the required band in each test module, your have the choice to retake or let your application to be processed through the Regular Stream.
Though IRCC hasn't been following the NSE requirements, esp for IELTS in which some few applicants obviously got positive responses after submitting a test report with 5.5 in two or one band module. Following suit will be to your own discretion.
Best of Luck Please you mean if I have band of 5:5 in 2 band module ,I can submit it like that.pls my no 2 question is that can I defer my application after submission but its obvious I can't meet up and I don't want to start online classes |

Please help Go to Keystone bank, they're faster cos they dont have much customers. Just go with all the necessary documents, open an account, fund it and they'll process Form A for you. Mine was processed within 3-5 days( Mid Nov 2020) unlike Zenith bank that asked me to give them One month without assurance. This is a tip that was given to me by a good samaritan (from this thread) and it worked, so this is me giving back. 1 Like |

Cert (Post Graduate Certificate Program) in a College. A 2.2 graduate applying for a Masters program in Canada has a lesser chance of getting Admission, but has a very high chance getting Admission for a PG. Cert Program in a college 2 Likes |

The truth is application these days requires tons of patience, because of the pandemic. 1. In order not to be mentally drained, hard times do not last long, you'll have to strive to meet up with classes as you have started already, also email each lecturer on your current predicament, I believe they'll reason with you, like thay can organise a private test 4u. 2. Email and raise webforms concerning your application status and let them know you've started classes online, and the delay is causing you mental absenteeism to concentrate on your classes as you're eager to know the outcome of your application. 3. Continue with your job and input EXTRA efforts to passing your courses, because you would not like to lose the amount you've invested. Cos schools abroad have a particular grade you must meet, if not na to pay extra..so pls strive hard to make good grades and it will end in praise... 1 Like |

Hello Baphil,
You don't necessarily need to mention your US citizen child in your application. However, do well to make the VO understand how he will fair or his wellbeing will be cater for.
Prior after your visa has been approved, you can email IRCC on his behalf to be exempted from the travel restriction and request for an "Authorization to Travel" letter be approved.

Babynkem: Please I need help with making a decision.
I am in the express entry pool with a CR's of 443. Trying my hand also at study route to. I am a registered nurse (2O12), with less than a year experience , also a dietitian, yet to be registered. Internship in view.
I applied to st. Xavier uni for accelerated nursing and didn't get the admission because my school of nursing is not recognised as an internationally recognised institution. So j am afraid to apply for another school for nursing. So went for memorial university masters in public health nutrition and dietetics. Still waiting for their decision.
Should I still try nursing because that is exactly want I want to do in Canada or be positive about the MUN admission.
Hello Babynkem, If the possibility of improving your EE score is forthcoming, have you considered trying the PNP route, you stand good chance for PNP with your score. You can also look out some other related branches of Nursing like Palliative Care Nursing and the likes in PGD or Post-Baccalaureate Diploma at colleges. Best of Luck 1 Like |

Sacollins123: Good afternoon all Please I've been following for some time but am currently in a very difficult corner. My study visa application was rejected early October last year for just one reason which I clearly understand but the thing now is that my agent is requesting for some submission fee which I don't have. I know I can do the visa application myself but am scared and do not know Jack on how to got about it though I processed my admission myself as well as booking my biometrics appointment. Lastly I want to state that for my study I have my in law sponsoring me with a good source of income and with a statement of account showing 10m+, I have paid $5,100 CAD deposit out of $11,240 CAD yearly tuition for a 3years diploma course which it my first post secondary study and am just 23. Please any great insight will be of help please as all my documents are ready. Hello Sacollins123, Why were you refused and what does your notes? You stand better chance with a Bachelor. Otherwise sure you draft a good study plan if you still decide to reapply with the Diploma which is still a study progression. Best of Luck |
