Hi Bidemi, in addition to Potential Nurse advice, try to do your next application to your desired school on your own, some of these agents do not really know much about this process. I am sure you will do it much better if you handle this on your own.

All the best

You said it all. Exactly what happened to me. Took it upon myself and I got admission in 7days. My agent kept asking for money to apply to schools and I pay way above the school admission fees requires.

Online classes with full time work especially bank work is really not easy. I had to attend a 2 hours class yesterday night which started by 11:30pm and also make it to work today before 8pm. The good thing is my job is not so demanding and I can do some reading on my desk while at work during slow periods. This has really helped me to follow up with classes and my grades so far have been good. Just trying to encourage you that you are not the only one going through this, I know your job might be more demanding than mine but when there is a will there is a way. Keep pushing and do your upfront medicals asap, it will end in praises for us

Lyndaa22:
Good day all,
I need an urgent advice on my application.
I applied by myself on the 10th of September 2020 and my application was rejected on the 17th of September. I was confused because before making the application I showed a lot of experienced agents all my Document and they did some adjustment and they said it was perfect, I was like 90% sure of my profile.
After my first application was rejected, I was really sacred so I went through an agent in Canada and she reapplied for me. The time line of my 2nd application goes like this:
Application date - 27th September 2020
Biometrics - 2nd of November 2020
NSE request – 12th November 2020
NSE submitted -24th November 2020
Additional document request (Employment letter) – 14th January 2021
Additional document submitted - 15th January 2021
And it was the last I heard from them, no updates at all.
I haven’t done a medical upfront although I booked for 18th of February 2021 with the hope that I would have a medical request before then. My agent has sent couple of mails to them, I personally sent webforms but no update yet. My major issue is that I have paid my first term school fees because the school gave a deadline (school fees can be refunded if visa was denied). Lectures resumed on the 18th of January with online classes, because of time difference and work (I work in a bank), I haven’t been attending classes, I just try to read on my own and it hasn’t really been easy for me because the write tests every day, I have missed a lot of test if not all. I tried to defer but the school said they don’t defer and I can’t quit my job yet because if things don’t work out as planned, I would be jobless and you know what it means to be jobless in this country. Honestly this has been a really rough phase for me, I am so confused, I don’t know what to do anymore, my agent keeps telling me to have patience that it would come but the more I wait the more I miss a lot from school which would definitely affect my grades at the end.
Is there anything I can do about this situation? Its draining me mentally.

Did you meet the financial conditions for the MBS? 30k cad being in the account for a 6 months minimum period? I heard that when this aspect is not met IELTS result alone cannot guarantee faster processing as they will have to run more checks. I do not know how true it is though but I suspect this is why some applications are taking longer to finalize. We can only just hope for the best in the end

Good day all, i am so happy to have stumbled on this thread after watching a youtube video about Study route being the best to migrate to Canada.

I am a graduate of Computer science (4.1/5.0)

I am married with 3 children but intend to leave them with my husband and go alone first.

I am working in a hospital, though i use computer for my work, my job function is Medical Record Officer.

Graduated in 2011, ran a farm with my husband for a while, went to learn skills like sewing and plaiting before i got my present job as a record officer in 2018. I am 36years.

My questions are these:
1. Considering the study gap from 2011 to 2021, will i have a problem with getting a visa?

2. Since my job function is not in IT, will i run into any problem?

3. My husband intend to sell of one our property and sponsor me, hope the lump sum wont cause issues for us?

4. I have never travelled out of the country before, hope that is not a problem?

5. I thought about going for a course that is Medical record related, but the courses are mainly certificate and diploma, i don't want a situation where eyebrows will be raised on why i am going for a lower degree... So i intend to go for Cybersecurity(Msc.)

6. While trying to migrate through EE or Provincial Nominee, i started Masters to boost my CRS score, but am not through, do i need to mention that?

Please seniors in the house, help a sister and give me direction if my intention on relocating through study route with these 'baggages' is feasible.

Congrats (and in advance) to all who have gotten their approval

Hello Sweetchi2411,

It will better for you to go for a course related to your current experience. It will be easy for you to justify the study gap and considering the fact that you have no actual practical knowledge in Computer since graduating.

It may be appropriate if you go for courses related to X-ray and Ultrasound technology study. This way, you can argue that as a computer specialist in the hospital, with the study, it can create better opportunity for you as a technology expert since modernization has brought about the use of technological equipment in the daily administration of treatments to patients.

Give instance that faulty hospital equipment which are highly expensive needs repairs and maintenance, thus, this is were the gain knowledge comes resourceful.

To your questions:

1. Justifiable study gap has no negative effect.

2. No, you won't run into problem if you go for similar computer/technological role relevant to the confinement of the hospital use for treatments.

3. The evidence (documents & payment receipt) of sales will be enough to justify the lump sum.

4. No, don't even talk about it. Just focus on justifying your study intent and home ties (socioeconomically).

5. Cybersecurity is not the right study pursue foe you. Go for something related to the discussed above and in point 2.

6. You don't need to.

Best of Luck

Hello,house..Planning on applying for NSE and I need advice regarding proof of funds. I'm a civil engineer, working for a civil engineering firm applying for a civil engineering program. My firm is willing to act as my sponsor as regards proof of fund for the 30k Canadian dollars. Can I use this? is it advisable? Plus, should I support this with my own personal account with about 10k CAD?

Please I need an urgent reply so I can give my company feedback on time...thank you.

Cc : Time2soar1

Hello FrostyButter,

Using an individual sponsor is most ideal. If you have no other option than the company sponsor, ensure to have your employer(s) make available to you the required amount for your LE and habe you tuition paid in full for 1yr.

Company sponsorship is well-scrutinized by the VO. The NSE 30k is also applicable to company sponsorship. As mentioned, also include your BS.

Best of Luck

for mine. The 30k cad has been there over 6 months but I uploaded the ticket and it still says action required

After uploading hope you went ahead to submit. It will take you to a page where it will show you the visa application fee amount again and you click on submit to transmit the document. I think after this it will change to submitted

Thank you again.

Now i have some thoughts & questions;

1. for ircc to be requesting for additional document, does this mean they have gone through ALL my documents (POF, CLIENT INFORMATION) and the whole bunch..? Otherwise how will they know that i did not submit IELTS (I didn't have to because my school didn't require it as criteria for admission and i was not interested on the NSE route). Also, i noted from the thread that it seems like once you do the NSE request, folks seem to end up with positive visa approval (i stand to be corrected). am i alone on this though?lol

2. Also, one requirement for the NSE, is that the funds should have been in the account for 3months..
my issue is that only about 75% of my funds in that account have been there untouched for 3 months..the remaining 25% did not meet the 3months stipulation. If i decide to do this NSE request thing, i hope this will not end up bringing wahala to me.

I thank una in advance o..
Oshe!

Hello Mrkingz,

Every submitted documents go through R10 checks where the documents are resorted to make the work easy for the VO.

Not all folks that went through the NSE Stream are successful. Some has been refused whilst majority got positive decision.

The requirement for the POF under NSE is for the account to have a minimum of 30k with transactional history of 12 months.

With the available 75%, I don't think you are likely to face any issues. Most people going through NSE don't even show close to the 30k and besides, the VOs seem not to be abiding to the rules guiding NSE during processing.

Best of Luck

where did y'all get this NSE fund requirement of 30k cad being in an account for 6 months. One person that got her permit stated the NSE required “Proof of Financial Support A mybankStatement certificate showing sufficient funds for your studies for at least 6 months and 12 months of banking history”. The 30k cad is misleading.

There she is. See what she wrote regarding NSE.
Inioluwa1:

NOTE: When I got the NSE Request for a Mybankstatement Cert, I initially sent series of webforms and mails that I don’t want to do because I was seeing $CAD 30,000 minimum when we barely had half! I was led to submit it with a balance of 3.6M Naira (having already paid $CAD 8,500 deposit) because upon reading the letter again, it said “Proof of Financial Support A mybankStatement certificate showing sufficient funds for your studies for at least 6 months and 12 months of banking history”, which mean (to my new understanding) half of the requirement for a year’s sufficient funds… English can be hard.
Let me not bore you. I hope and trust I have been able to restore someone’s faith here. Don’t be moved by what you see (even on this forum, I saw people with over ten times of what my mother has and even being fully-funded and what not, not getting approved, I’m not despising anyone - God forbid, just keep the faith and DO YOUR HOMEWORK well, God cannot be mocked.), your joy is key – don’t lose it, keep busy and don’t stay idle - depression sets in faster then, a delay can never be a denial.
I’ll be resuming September 2021. Let me stop here, it has ended in praise!

Congratulations to you. It will surely end in praise. PPR soonest.

But just to ask, how come some are getting PPR directly and some are still getting AIP.

I though AIP ended with September 2020.

I guess all na approval sha. (Just wondering aloud)

Hello Yteem,

AIP has been reintroduced since the beginning of the year. Dor most Nigerian applicants not receiving the first stage approval boils down to the VO.

The AIP is actively been used for applications from India.

Cheers!

Hello OtunbaTee,

From my own observations, its safe to say no Nigeria applicants received refusal after AIP here on NL or outside.

The cases you saw were they Nigerians?

The cases of refusal after AIP was rampant amongst the Indians, Pakistanis, Kazakhanstans.

Even me I did not have up to 30k cad in my account but I had sufficient funds for my study but if you google NSE requirements it says 30k cad and its based on that we mention the amount here. There is no harm having more than required but if you do not please still submit. Highest your application will be processed via the normal route. Like they say no two applications are the same
