What you said is true,I guess this simple English to understand. They didn't even mention 30kcad in mine shupy: where did y'all get this NSE fund requirement of 30k cad being in an account for 6 months. One person that got her permit stated the NSE required “Proof of Financial Support A mybankStatement certificate showing sufficient funds for your studies for at least 6 months and 12 months of banking history”. The 30k cad is misleading. 2 Likes |

God bless us all Hello, After Biometrics, you'll get an update on your portal saying "Biometrics completed". Then the wait starts. It might take a few days or weeks before you get the NSE request letter. But whatever the case, you should always check your GCKEY and email. IT WILL END IN PRAISES IN THE SHORTEST POSSIBLE TIME |

Thank you [Qquote author=Deohlarh20 post=98978522] At obalende you should see lekki ..or ask around for where you can find lekki .then drop at lekki phase one .you'd cross to the other side then walk to where there's one gate stuff ..all this small white bus that have specific place you show them the address so they'd show you the particular one you'd enter .so when you're dropped at the last bus stop .The place they drop you or find who to ask you'd enter another small bus #50 that would drop you indent of the vfs office [/quote] |

I arrived Canada yesterday and it was preetty smooth through the airport. Although the quarantine is stricter now, they said they will send officials to come check where you are staying and confirm if you are really staying indoors Hi ditha, Thank God for the safe journey 1) Is your Intake for January, May or September? 2) I quote CIC, which says "A number of people are exempt from these travel restrictions, such as Canadian citizens, permanent residents, certain temporary foreign workers, certain international students, or immediate and extended family members of Canadians, among others". Sequel to the above statement, apart from the 14-days Compulsory quarantine, does that mean that the new restriction (the $2000 3-days hotel hish) is not applicable to international students? |

Victory1989: Please what is the meaning of NSE request letter. The NSE is an abbreviation meaning "Nigerian Student Express" so the NSE request letter is a letter IRCC sends to applicants telling them they may be qualified for the Nigerian Student Express based on IRCC review of their submitted applications. Please see more explanation in the link below. https://www.nairaland.com/5818588/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/543 - Check the link for explanation from Frankrobbn1: All the best. |

As an international student, the only way you can apply to CONESTOGA COLLEGE is via the ONTARIO COLLEGE INTERNATIONAL PORTAL Go to the Page of the the program you want to apply for at Conestoga College, you would see APPLY, click on it and click on APPLY NOW : INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS, it will take you to ONTARIO COLLEGE INTERNATIONAL PORTAL, when it opens you would see, CREATE ONE in blue color, click on it to sign up and create your OCAS account Then input your Details, e.g Academic details etc. Make sure you get your documents ready to apply . ALL SCANNED IN PDF, and documents in picture or word format should be converted to PDF E.g - Academic Transcript (Student Copy) - Certificate of Highest Degree - International Passport Data Page - Birth Certificate - Cover letter to show you are going to be a best fit for the Program based on your Academic Background or Work Experience (Might be optional) - Resume or CV - Other documents, additional requirements depending on the program Reach out to Conestoga College students on this forum , they would be able to guide you further based on their experience 1 Like 1 Share |

Good morning people of God. I hope we are well and receiving our PPR left, right and centre.
My friend received the attached mail this morning after several webforms and emails. It looks like they are insisting on the NSE requirements even after the date has expired and normal processing time has passed too.
Their attached mail is still the same NSE request letter of 19th November 2020.
She wrote back to tell them she had already written to them stating she can't meet up and that she has opted for the normal processing time.
What do you gurus think? |
