Endsars: Is The Business At LCC More Important Than The Lives Of Nigerians? by Penguin2: 7:42am On Feb 12, 2021 |
A protest, #OccupyLekkiTollGate, is planned for this Saturday as a result of the decision of LCC to open the tollgate for business after being the scene of a massacre during the EndSARS protest in 20/10/2020. To discourage the protest, govt, both state and federal, has been issuing stern warnings against the protest. The Lagos Attorney General and the state's commissioner of police held a joint press briefing on how another protest won't be allowed in Lagos. The Federal government is also warning that any other protest will be quashed. Some funny Lagosians have threatened Igbo businesses and to target Igbo dominated markets if another protest is held. But all these brouhaha can be put to rest if only LCC can just call off it's proposed reopening of the tollgate. But it seems both FG and Lagos state govt prioritizes whatever business that is going on there to the lives and property of Nigerians. They seem prepared to perpetrate another massacre than instruct LCC to quash the proposed reopening. Hence my question; is the business at Lekki tollgate, whoever owns it, more important than the Lives and property of Nigerians? Lalasticlala, Mynd44 1 Like 1 Share |

It's a simple yes or no. Is money or tollgate of greater importance than justice or lives. It's a yes or no. The question goes to you first answer, yes or no. If not your no implies money is important than justice and lives. Penguin2:Tinubu must be mentioned? Did you check their CAC documents and you found tinubu's name as one of the directors? Do you have any evidence that tinubu is a shareholder in LCC. You people will come to play victim card on how you are hated where as hatred runs in your veins. You hate yorubas with their politicians. God will deliver you 13 Likes |

The Op's injection of Tinubu's name into his post shows clearly that the aims of the protest are political. There is no doubt that the protests are being sponsored by sore losers who have repeatedly failed to achieve their aims via the ballot box and are therefore resorting to their socalled protests to achieve their political aims through the backdoor. Omo, una go continue to fail because your antics have been exposed. Your madness will be met with an equal if not more superior measure of madness. 10 Likes |

Penguin2:You're mad. When I read the template of the protest this morning, it's more of issue pertaining to Federal Government like THE BAN ON CRYPTO, NON PROSECUTION OF SARS, HIKE IN PETROLEUM PRODUCTS and sort. Yet you're not staging (planning to destroy the economy) it at Abuja or even your respective States but Lagos State 6 Likes |

Fixey: Yimu. If the resistance you are witnessing against your blackmail propaganda on this thread is what you call bullying, carry your leg waka go protest for the toll gate tomorrow, then you see the real bullying. You think say na only una get crase? Gone are the days when you people could get away with invoking Tinubu's name to get away with your political intentions. Una no reach. From hereon your madness will be met with even more madness. If you don't like Tinubu, you have no other choice than to wait till 2023 to vote against his party. No backdoor tactics will work. Not in this Lagos. Las Las una go leave Lagos back to wherever una come from. Oshisko. 5 Likes |

ThatFairGuy1: My guy, no mind dem. Dem think say dem get crase. The worst part is that all of them are ibos o. Na only the omo ale Yorubas dem fit deceive with their antics because the real ijinle Yorubas know they don't wish the state well from here to there. It is only Yorubas that have always stood up to defend Lagos when the chips are down because come rain or shine na our land, onilu koni je kilu ko tu. During the heat of June 12 they all ran off to their region, believing the military would level the state and finish off the Yorubas. Their aim has always been to see the state burn out of jealousy and envy, but their plans will continue to fail. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Fixey: On the contrary it is clear it is you Igbos who hate others and can never live with them without always trying to cause division and chaos you wish to profit from. Like many of us have repeated many times, these protests are merely political and sponsored/targeted against Tinubu because of the location protestors are insisting on. I.e Lekki tollgate. Can you tell us the symbolic connection of Lekki tollgate, as a protest ground, to all the agitations protestors have listed which are clearly issues requiring Federal government intervention? Why has a siege not been laid on the NASS complex , Aso Rock in Abuja or at appropriate Ministries handling portfolios protestors claim they need addressed? How will Lagosians and Yorubas not be aggrieved and distrusting of the sincerity of protestors given that lagos, specifically Lekki tollgate, is always a target and never numerous sites in Abuja that is the federal capital territory and Nigerian home of administrative/political authority? 1 Like |
