emajebi:
How old can your sponsor letters be for the embassy. I have a sponsor and employment letter that I sent to Nigeria in December, but getting visa appointment has been an issue. We're planning to get one using someone at the embassy next week. Will they accept sponsor letters from end of december?

Thanks!

My advice is just to do one year and a few days or three days more

Cos when you get here after settling and having about five to three months to the end of the validity of your visa... you’ll need to do another insurance to apply for your temporary residence permit. If you do two years you might need to translate it to polish and it’ll cost you... so just do one year and a week insurance is enough

Ok thanks alot

You can do things differently
-Ask friends and family to call on your behalf
-Change your location, the network reception may be poor
-Get a small phone or landline

I agree with you. That's the way it should be.

But we heard things changed around December/ last month due to the new lockdown rules.

I also heard of a guy who was turned back at the point of entree in Poland and was forced to fly back to Nigeria. The guy even posted it here on this Poland thread.

So things dey happen o. But I guess the guy was just unluck to have met a strict border officer.

Hardefillar1:

No it’s not always like that... you can come to Poland one month or five weeks into your resumption date...
One of my friends I helped through your the process is here in Poland now; he came in second week of January and he’s to resume by March...

So once you have visa and you’re checked; you’re free to go... no one will send you back... if they didn’t want you to travel they’ll hold your visa still to a week before resumption...

No need. we used Irish employment letter and they accept o. Sometimes i think it depends on mood of the person at the embassy. and/or the favour of God. Amen!! grin

Hello house, so I heard something in a meeting as regards Poland student visa.

The person said that people who go to Private schools in Poland don’t usually get a job because the school didn’t ask them to legalize their documents, so basically in Poland if you don’t legalize your document before coming life might be difficult for you even tho your school doesn’t request it. I heard it is better to attend public schools that way after school you can easily get a job.
Gurus in the house! Please how true is this?
Re: Polish Student Visa by Cutealexio(m): 1:20am On Feb 12, 2021
The Payslip I used had 750k on it. I'll be going to Wroclaw
necz:
How much was on the Payslip you used?

Also, which city are you going to? That could also be a factor to consider when using a payslip. If you're going to big cities like Warsaw or Wroclaw. Please don't go and use payslip of 300k or 400k oo. Look for a sponsor who earns higher i.e; 500 - 800k

I believe you will get your VISA, if you do the needful.

I wish you a +ve response outcome as you appeal

I don't think what you've heard is consistent with all the facts and proofs that had been laid bare on this platform. Many guys are in private schools and are doing fine. we don't have any proof(s) that legalization stands in the way of getting opportunities in poland.
I stand to be corrected though
Re: Polish Student Visa by Nobody: 3:50am On Feb 12, 2021
I've heard and felt the frustrations of many about the troubles with securing an appointment date. I went through it as well. I only got lucky to find a way out. But someone sent me a screenshot last night about her attempts to phone-in and book an appointment. She tried over 1,000 times. And for what?? We still pay 80 EUR at the end of the day, and some people still get denied after all the wahala.
Can these people subject US citizens to this trash?
I blame our your leaders who can't stand up for us and call out this senselessness!

Something must have gone wrong with your Payslip or sponsorship documents for them to have rejected it

its sheer disrespect for us, the ekonsulat platform is the best solution, we can't even count on the inept set of individuals we call diplomats in our country because their wards don't phone in to get appointment, the just book it from the foreign affairs for them, naija my country.
Re: Polish Student Visa by necz: 12:26pm On Feb 12, 2021
To be fair. The ekonsult is no more the best platform to use as Agents now hijacked the platform, thereby filling all the available dates and then sell them later to those who are in need of it.

That was the reason why the Embassy changed it to Phone Lines. Although this Phone calls is more difficult and frustrating. No caps

Good evening great minds. I must applaud all selfless contributors who have taken out their time to demystify the processes of attaining a polish student visa. My question is this, What are the documents I need to obtain from my sponsor as he is into business. Will appreciate a swift response. Many Thanks.

See, there’s a basis to this thing...
A lot of us just get random figures as pay slips and expect it to work...
There’s a calculation to this thing...
First add all your expenses yearly including annual tuition fee, return flight ticket fee etc...
The amount on the payslip; only 30-40% will be evaluated to be yours if you’re using a sponsor...

So factor your total expenses and see if it fits into the 30-40% bracket...

That’s the only way you’ll know that you’re safe...
They only calculate 100% on payslips that are for self sponsor or credit card in your name...

Thanks greatly bro for this enlightenment.
But am self sponsoring , and I decide to use credit card, , do I still need to present payslips. Also how much in total do I need to show

Also is it naira or dollar credit card?

Pls kindly elaborate pls
