asitis752: Hi. I think you should help yourself first. Go through the thread from the beginning/ watch YouTube videos. Atleast to get the basic ABT what you intend to put your money into.. the step by step you are asking her to guide you through have been done in previous page(s). At least if you get stuck somewhere, others will be willing to help then 4 Likes 1 Share |

Too bad! Sometimes you feel an entry point is too high and it never comes down to your buy limit only to see the coin doing x2 of the entry point you deemed too high. I followed your advice on ZIL and I noticed it has strongly taken the 0.1 ground. I hope it’s okay to hodl. Please do keep us posted if anything changes about it. You said link and eith will likely pump last in this bullrun so is it advisable to TP and stay away from alyts the moment Eith & Link gets really pumped? Even though link has not pumped it has gradually moved to 30, is it still safe to enter at this point? Sailor1: 1 Like |

strom: It's not confusing but lemme try to explain it for all to understand. A stop loss order allows you to set the price at which you want to sell but only when the price reaches the stop price you have set. There are three things that needs to be filled in stop loss; the stop price, the limit price and the amount of coin you want to sell. Stop price: When this price is reached, it triggers the limit price. Limit price: This is where the order is executed. Lemme give an example: Let's say you buy a coin at 200, now that coin has increased to 240, but you fear it might suddenly go back to 200 or lower, making you loss your money and profit all at the same time. What you do in this situation is to put the (stop price) at 235 and the (limit price) at 234, so that when the price HIT 235, your coin will be sold at 234 or higher. The downside of stop loss order is that even if the price go as high as 400, your limit order won't be triggered unless it reached the amount you set for the stop price. I hope I explained this better 23 Likes 3 Shares |

dogtails: I will rather reply you here..... I'm also new to this but I've been following instructions here.. I'm just getting lucky to jump in when price are rising.... sometimes I watch price bounces around resistance and support level....then I jump in at support level.....then Exit just right before the resistance level. I do this for like 10 to 15 times daily... purely luck and nothing else. It may not work for you. Moreover, I've jumped in several times and the price will keep going down...I cut my loss immediately and jump out. They both have advantage and disadvantage.... I've missed out on several good runs where it keep shooting up after I exit prematurely due to lack of technical analysis. I wouldn't advise you do what I do because it's based on pure instincts.... for example, I've made over 250usd while doing this but I've only been able to keep 100usd....that is less than 50%.... you see that's still not a good strategy. I'm trying to learn and do the right thing. I think you should too. And avoid been greedy....I lost half of my portfolio to greediness 2weeks ago. Be contended with little gains. Caveat: it's pure luck a for me and taken my step may get you really bunt. Learn first and do the right thing....else you carry your cross. Wish you luck 10 Likes 2 Shares |

strom: This may help..... You have to understand, Market Order, limit Order and Stop-limit/ Stop-loss first. A market order is an order to quickly buy or sell at the best available current price. A limit order is an order that you place on the order book with a specific limit price. The limit price is determined by you. So when you place a limit order, the trade will only be executed if the market price reaches your limit price (or better). Therefore, you may use limit orders to buy at a lower price or to sell at a higher price than the current market price. You have to have a projected price you want to sell or buy as the case may be. A Stop-loss is an order placed to stop your loss if price fall below a particular price. Under OCO Stop-limit does the work of Stop-loss. An OCO, or “One Cancels the Other” order allows you to place two orders at the same time. It combines a limit order, with a stop-limit order, but only one of the two can be executed. OCO allow you to set a price you are projecting to sell and make profit, then it goes further to allow you set another order called Stop-limit should your projection be wrong and price retracted before reaching the projected profit price, it will sell off and not go down with the price. Remember, my Oga @Sailor1 have said it all....if you enter the market at the right time, you don't need a Stop-loss..just continue to take profit. Be careful with the confidence OCO gives you. It can make you loose on good runs or make you stagnant. Especially if you are a goat like me. 19 Likes 4 Shares |

kolagbemi: It's pure luck. I did this a couple of hours ago with WTC, jumped in and exit at 20% profit. Within minute of my exit, the price came down drastically. So it's just luck and knowing when to exit without been too greedy. 5 Likes |

Re: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by Bunsenbun(m): 5:48am On Feb 13, 2021 |
I have been nonchalant in the cryptoworld since 2017,I was just interested in the technology behind it and not the monetary gains one can gain from it but a series of bad decisions have more than illustrated to me how profitable the crypto bubble could be.I have ample understanding of tue crypto world and would be taking this as investment opportunities.I am particularly interested in the defi world which is the new bubble apparently. I am only interested in low capped gems that can help maximise profits with little risks involved.I would appreciate it if I can get added to a whatsapp group for my fellow moon shooters. So far,the only moonshot i believe has massive potential is the GET PROTOCOL. 2 Likes |

Sailor1: You've been immense, Sorry to bother you once again. In the picture you posted it's obvious you have the option of choosing a couple of time frames which are non existent in my Binance mobile trading platform. I mean, the maximum I can get is 1 month while yours has the option of 5 years and max. I have even pinched out to the fullest like you recommended and that's no good Attached is a screenshot to explain my point. Compare it with the picture you posted with this quote of yours I have highlighted. I will be grateful if you can give me pointers on how to increase the time frame just like yours. This will aid in my analysis. Thanks. CC everyone.
