Smuggling Becomes Booming Business In Katsina State As Land Borders Remain Shut by Kwanza: 5:54am On Feb 13, 2021 |
The continued closure of Nigeria-Niger border at Jibia town, Katsina State by the officers of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) despite President Muhammadu Buhari’s directive for its reopening is not yielding any positive results as smuggling of contrabands into Nigeria remained a daily occurrence at the border town. On December 31, 2020, Buhari approved the immediate reopening of all land borders in Nigeria following the earlier reopening of Seme, Illela, Maigatare and Mfum after 15 months of outright closure that stoked stern criticism across Africa.https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2021/02/13/smuggling-a-booming-business-in-katsina-state/amp/?__twitter_impression=true Mynd44 Lalasticlala

Why wouldn't this be happening when the reason behind closing the border have no genuine intention.Imagine the massive concentration of armed security agencies across the southern borders while the northern approach even in the president home state being free gangways for smugglers, bandits and BH to operate unchallenged. 57 Likes 4 Shares |

Racoon: Why wouldn't this be happening when the reason behind closing the border have no genuine @the bolded above.... *They said we are the poverty capital of the world. Our President decided that we should just close our poverty stricken borders to the outside world so that we can manage on our own. Suddenly, scarcity hits Benin republic, Togo, Niger. Demonstration hits Ghana. Vietnam, Thailand and other envoys all came calling.* *Their economy depends on our poverty. They are begging the most corrupt nation on Earth to do business with them. They have no buyers for their commodity. In our neighbors domain, scarcity have hit them hard.* It turned out they need us more than we need them. We have all it takes to stand alone as a nation. All we need is a plan and a willing leader. God bless Nigeria 7 Likes 5 Shares |

A wise man one said"make your food your medicine or you make medicine your food later". Don't put anything you see in your mouth. Be selective in the type of food that enters your mouth, avoid sugar, carbs, soft drink, fried foods, unhealthy snacks, eat more of vegetables, fruits, oats, soyabean, beans, egg, fish. Exercise daily. Your health is my concern. Stay healthy. I deliver soybean powder to anywhere in Nigeria. Contact me now 3 Likes |

[s] post=99014722:[/s]And the government went to borrow 5000metric tonnes of food grain from ECOWAS food bank sometime back? And there is still food insecurity across this nation with sky rocketing foodstuffs prices. Why will the president imposed a senseless blockade on the southern borders while the one right in his backyard is where the rice is being smuggled in thereby depriving the south of economical benefit? Stop quoting me to say nonsense 37 Likes 3 Shares |

The north are allowed to do whatever they like Their prisons and cells are almost empty They drive without drivers license They live free life doing whatever that pleases them without the full arm of law catching But down south We are harassed and treated like Nigeria doesn't belong to us also Believe in one Nigeria at your own risk There's nothing like one Nigeria 23 Likes 1 Share |
