While we can't exonerate buhari in all of these for his government and leadership failures, however the Lagos state government and the governor are to be held solely responsible for this recent endorsement development as they have shown that they are a selfish, greedy government whose only concern is their fat and deep pocket thats needs regular servicing and access to squander state resources. They are not concerned with equity and justice. They don't care about what happened, they only worried about how much they are missing by not opening the toll gates. Toll gates that only brings pain and discomfort from the exorbitant tolls to the totally upsetting and warranted traffic. Pains from the waste of time and efforts to waste of human lives.

I support that the toll should be dismantled and government should put on their thinking cap on how better to generate revenue than toll gates.

Quite right. Not that I agree that they should have been arrested, but by quickly charging them and releasing them on bail, they the government can claim to be following due process.

Paddy man bail in court is like a bond...doesn't mean the person standing in as the surety is paying N100k...he only presents evidence of the availability of the said sum...he forfeits it if the charged person jumps bail or absconds.
