It worked for me![/quote] This is how someone's visa was revoked on "Give birth in US....thread" few years ago. In summary, let's be careful with the information we drop here, Visa Officers are on NL, and they are watching!!! We can always PM for sensitive information. #okbye 3 Likes |

Hahahahaha! Happy to have you as my adopted brother. You are welcome. Yes, I think it's better to state one year; you will be able to sort out any other thing once you are there. Once your help has the same surname as you, she is practically your child and she can be listed as one and it makes it easier for the application. As an adult, she can also conveniently travel with them too. 7COLOURS: 1 Like |

LadyBlaq: You've a good profile that would land you a successful application. I would recommend you use University of New Brunswick MBA program. I have noticed high visa approval with this school lately and there is a good prospect of being nominated in the province under its International Graduate Stream even before the completion of your studies. The sponsor of your abroad studies being a family friend is not strong enough, however, you need more of evidence than mere statement. He could pay your first year tuition at UNB and transfer some funds for your living expenses. Please provide proof of past transfers/deposits from him to your account. This will further explain to the visa officer that this sponsor have been rendering financial support to you prior to this moment. Again, please don't mention in your personal statement to the immigration that you're responsible for paying school fees, rent and other house expenses for your siblings. Mentioning this will dramatically affect your economic establishment in Nigeria. Hence, I would advice you to remain silent about this point. You can explain to the immigration officer that you've a fiancé in Nigeria whom you plan to walk down the aisle immediately after the completion of your studies in Canada. Attach engagement photos, pictures where you both went for a date and had soft kisses and hugs etc. I hope this information satisfies your enquiry. It will end in praise 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Gentle21: Age has got nothing to do with your study visa application. Once you can account for your study gaps with rational explanation and encyclopedia documents/evidence, the visa officer will have no concerns on your ability to study but to approve your application. Most importantly, you also need to declare substantial amount in your bank statements and proof of adequate economic ties to Nigeria that would motivate your departure from Canada after studies. 7COLOURS: Any age above 33 is termed a matured applicant. Given that you're 41 this year, the feasible way to prove that you're well established in Nigeria and that your proposed course of study in Canada is at a reasonable expense. You're in a more advantageous position of being Self-sponsored. Having someone else to finance your studies abroad will give the visa officer the audacity to question your financial establishment thus leading to visa rejection. Having critically examined your profile, I would suggest you apply alone, whilst your spouse and kids be your home ties in your application. A Master's degree is the way forward to demonstrate career progression. This program should be in correlation with your current job role considering the 16 years working experience. I hope this information satisfies your inquiry. It will end in praise 4 Likes |
