You are assuming that every child wants to be a business man? That is wrong.

Even if I have empires, I still will not force my children to go into the business if they don’t want to. I provide a good education and if they are lucky that I also happen to have an empire, they are free to take it over when I die or come join me in what I will be doing for fun then

The goal is to give the children the solid foundation to go out and be the best that they can be. Not for me to be suffering and focusing on building a fortune for them and their unborn generations.

By the way, nothing stops the children from raising their own money to go into business. Trust me, with the education and connections from good schools, they will raise money easily. Keem Bello Osagie’s father provided a solid foundation. Keem did the rest with this foundation

Some of the children of the old money men mentioned in " The making and Makers of Nigerian private enterprise" by Tom Forrest. Became Professors, lawyers, doctors, civil servants etc, because most of those old money men were not educated, the parents never wanted their children to come into the family business. One of the reasons why some of such businesses died.

But for someone like Adeola Odutola, some of the children are earning hundreds of millions as dividends. He used to be a major shareholder of Consolidated brewery before it was recently bought by Nigeria Brewery

Haha. Keem is actually a very sharp guy. Unfortunately, UBA ended disastrously and Etisalat was dead and buried when they came in late.

Keem is just an example. Danladi of Verod, Tunde Kehinde of Lydia (first Jumia CEO), Philip Iheanacho of Azura are other examples. They are not children of old money billionaires but comfortable parents that gave them the best education and foundation and today, these chaps are doing very well

That is what I would like for my kids. Any extra investments or businesses I do to fund my own retirement enjoyment will just be extra money for them when I’m gone

He doesn’t have to sell his shares to cash out from that coins investment. Tesla just has to sell the coins to cash out and it can happen anytime. No permission needed from anyone.
