Please, how do I pay for one way courier of my passport from VFS to my location. Will VFS send me a mail or should I pay for one way courier and send them the receipt? Please help me.

Better to pay two-way courier service. This will reduce the amount of time spent for VFS to contact you for return payment.

Hey guys,

Who is applying or has applied to Memorial University for UNDERGRADUATE fall 2021?
1. Have you heard back from them regarding admissions?

2. Also did you have to provide proof of English Language Proficiency?

3. Did you get any scholarships?

Save yourself the time, resources and effort by applying to University of Regina for her Undergraduate degree. MUN will delay you and still decline your application.

I applied for UG fall 2021 intake

1) I've been in constant communication with the admissions office and department of interest. But I'm yet to submit my ielts.

2) Yes, I was asked to submit ielts in a mail sent to me.

3) Still hopeful about that

Forget about MUN application. Apply to University of Regina for her undergraduate degree. This school has high success rate for undergraduate students. This is a first hand information which I have used for more than four (4) international students and they were successful. Thank me later.

Thanks for responding. Just sent in application but didn’t send any English Tests.

We haven’t heard back from them either.

Pls when did you apply? And how many weeks before they got back to you

MUN will request every documents be verified and sent by the issuing body.

The WAEC confirmation of result has to be couriered by the WAEC office at Yaba. Whilst, the IELTS will be sent by IELTS coordinator (office) from Nigeria to Canada. You need a minimum of 6.0 band to qualify for admission at MUN for an undergraduate degree. In all of this processes, you will pay for the processing fees for this organizations to send your documents to Canada as well as the courier fees will be incurred by you.

Hope you can see the stress and money that will be spent for common undergraduate admission at MUN which is also not certain that you will be admitted in the end.

You've a good profile that would land you a successful application. I would recommend you use University of New Brunswick MBA program. I have noticed high visa approval with this school lately and there is a good prospect of being nominated in the province under its International Graduate Stream even before the completion of your studies.

The sponsor of your abroad studies being a family friend is not strong enough, however, you need more of evidence than mere statement. He could pay your first year tuition at UNB and transfer some funds for your living expenses. Please provide proof of past transfers/deposits from him to your account. This will further explain to the visa officer that this sponsor have been rendering financial support to you prior to this moment. Again, please don't mention in your personal statement to the immigration that you're responsible for paying school fees, rent and other house expenses for your siblings. Mentioning this will dramatically affect your economic establishment in Nigeria. Hence, I would advice you to remain silent about this point. You can explain to the immigration officer that you've a fiancé in Nigeria whom you plan to walk down the aisle immediately after the completion of your studies in Canada. Attach engagement photos, pictures where you both went for a date and had soft kisses and hugs etc.

I hope this information satisfies your enquiry.

I surely will.

Meanwhile, I am done with my application for MBA at UNBC but I can't seem to make online fee payment but will try and sort it out before today ends.

My concern is this: deadline for this application is 15th February which is tomorrow so I don't know if this deadline is applicable to my referees submitting a reference letter for my application.

I will also apply for MBA at UNB as you advised, Thier MBA is a one year program, hope it's still okay?

Congrats.

Can you give us your timeline and how you went about your application? I am also a matured applicant and won’t mind picking a thing or two.
Thank you.

There is no personal email for the embassy you will still have to use the webforms and mail platforms to Nairobi and you have also been advised to order for your GCMS NOTES to know where your Application stands instead of all these worries and guess work it' is best for you to do that if you don't want to do the upfront medicals order for your Notes!!!.

Hello! I saw you used one way courier fo your passport. I'm in the same category. I paid for one way courier using ups when sending my passport. I got my LOI on Friday. How do I begin process the return of my passport. Thanks
If it's VFS Lagos you submitted your Passport to for Stamping you have to reach out to them by Call to get updates about your Passport return (Get ready to disturb them cos their no. is always busy, 9am on the dot is the best time to call).

The content in the link below will guide you on how to get across to VFS Lagos as regards your Passport return via Call

https://www.nairaland.com/5818588/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/692#97051549

Once you have been able to get across to them, and they av confirmed your Passport has gotten back to their office from the Canadian Embassy in Lagos, they would send you a mail that you should pay #11,310 to a Sterling Bank Account and also send you a Courier SMS request form, so after paying the money, you will print the courier SMS form, fill it with your pen, also write your TRACKING NUMBER boldly on top of the form then Scan/Snap it and send it back to VFS Lagos (Canada) via Mail, together with the Proof of Payment of the #11,310.

If your payment has bin confirmed by VFS Lagos (Canada), they would send you a feedback mail saying

Please be informed that your passport has been dispatched to your provided address on the 11/12/1984 via UPS Courier Awb No. Wxxxxxxxx.

Please kindly be informed that courier delivery takes an average of 2-3 working days.

ADDRESS : the address on the Courier SMS Form you sent to them

It's that UPS tracking no. you will use to track the movement of your Parcel (passport) to your destination on UPS website. There is an indicator you will see on their website when you input your AWB tracking number, this will show you how soon your parcel would get to your destination

Try to get the the phone number of the UPS dispatch rider in possession of your Passport from the VFS Staff, so you can be monitoring him and give him directions to the address
