So I relocated to a new area in ogun state and for the the past 4 week Sundays I have been going from one redeemed church to other.
When the time for first timer announcement I stood up and was ushered to sit else where and I was given a form to fill my name, phone number, address and prayer points and immediately at close of service either the senior pastor, junior pastor or head working begin to encourage me to continue serving with them. To my surprise none of the four churches I attended in four consecutive Sundays ever called me or follow me up for the following Sunday services.
I was expecting that any of the churches that called me that's will be the church I will be attending
So I would like to ask RCCG member if they don't follow up first timer or they have waxed cold.
My former church don't joke with follow up and evangelism at all

Daddy GO should watch the calibre of people parading themselves as his Pastors in some of the Parishes. It is nothing to writer home about..

In as much that I'm born again, I may not need follow up though. I wanted to start attending a new church.
Assuming I'm not born again that's how they will jus allow New comers to jus go like that?
So what's the purpose of collect address and phone number?
Is it not for follow up calls and visitation?
The church is loosing potential members, committed members and convert easily.
For your information, every New comers is supposed to be follow up

I go to my chairmen for update not my chairmen coming to me to update me. Follow up for your salvation not salvation to follow you up. I'm an RCCG member but I'm sorry to I don't make point from Bible.
See this Pastors/clergy/Religious they only a middleman between we and Divinity (God), go seek your salvation yourself not Pastor to remind you of it. I'm born Catholic but since I started attending penticostal, I'm not always happy when church call or visit I also tell them when they collect my number that I don't need much call from them, I come when I wan come and go when I wan go don't follow me up. I think is my own way of understanding
