Goodmorning all. Hope we are all good and wishing us all successful dropping of almighty PPR Love letter. Please my gurus in the house, pleased when explaining the properties in home ties in SOP, do I need to state where it is located or just mention I have landed properties with survey plans attached? Your help will be highly appreciated 2 Likes |

awys: so it's safe to expect response after 2 months instead of the usual 21days. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Yteem: 8:11am On Feb 17, 2021 |
Ketima: I don’t think it is necessary to state the location. Just attach the survey plans, also if you have utility bills for that same property you can attached such as land use charge receipt and documents. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Yteem: 8:12am On Feb 17, 2021 |
Admin9: No one can categorically say how long the process will take or takes. Just hope for the best that it won’t take too long and do your battle in the place of prayer. |

Yteem: Ok. But he building is under construction currently at roofing level. I have power of attorney, survey plan and receipt of purchase of the lands. Will that be enough |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Ketima: 8:19am On Feb 17, 2021 |
awys: I have power of attorney. Is it ok too |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by awys: 8:22am On Feb 17, 2021 |
Ketima:Okay since it's still under construction the C OF O won't be ready but then all the aforementioned documents can suffice too. 1 Like |

Hey guys , just got my GCMS note . Their concerns was that my funds may not be available and that they are not convinced that the proposed studies will be a reasonable expense . I also think most of the concerns are from my SOP. That my study plan does not appear reasonable given my career path and that the reason I provided for the course of study was unclear given the high cost of living of education in Canada. Please guys I need to address these concerns and will appreciate any assistance I can get . 1 Like |

Thanks for your reply..Uni of Guelph does not offer civil engineering..Its 3.59 good for a MSc program in civil engineering in Canada? Concerning USaks, make sure to fill the Pre-qualification form first. It takes a maximum of 6weeks for them to get back to you. If you dont fill this form first, you cant apply and if you do, you’ll be rejected. Also, check out uni of guelph and MUN (their msc is called MEng)
|

Longjonjoe: I'd advise you to resend your NSE documents and gently inform them that you would want your application to be processed via the NSE route. It worked for me as my eligibility review started within 24hrs of sending the message. I hope people dont abuse it shaa. PS: I applied on January 24th with the NSE docs, biometrics done on 26th, medical passed on 7th February, sent the reminder message on 9th February, eligibility review started on 10th February, PPR COMING SOON IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!!! MAY IT END IN PRAISE FOR US ALL IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!!! 7 Likes |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by awys: 9:10am On Feb 17, 2021 |
Inestimable61:This is based on my own understanding am not a guru oo other gurus can add too and correct if am wrong 1. What's your Educational background and what course are you going for. This has to be reviewed is it lower than your previous education? And even if it's lower than your previous education you need to be very very very convincing enough as to why you are going for the proposed course ,how will the course help you in your career growth and development because I have seen approvals where the proposed course of study is lower than the previous education so in this case you need a convincing LOE if you don't want to review the proposed course of study. 2. Do you have a sponsor or self sponsored and the proof of funds you submitted was it enough to cover the expenses and who is sponsoring If you have presented a sponsor. 3. The course you are going for how will it be Economically , and financially beneficial to you after your study looking at the high cost of the Study and in career terms too how is it beneficial to you this is where the high cost of the education in Canada comes in . So all you need is LOE to tackle all these then maybe you need to review your chosen field of Study In Canada and explain your career path extensively in lieu with the course you will be going for. YOUR CHOSEN COURSE OF STUDY needs to reviewed as well. 1 Like 1 Share |

I will like to thank everyone on this insightful platform ( those asking questions through this I learnt and all others helping with answers) I wish I can tag you all, but am saying thank you so much for the pool of wisdom. TIMELINE 1st Time Applicant. 1 year post graduate certificate in business management. Application submitted: 30th September,2020. NSE Request: November 17th,2020.( did not submit as I did not have IELTS test results). Medical request: 13th January,2021. Got an appointment for 4th February. AIP: 16th January. Medical passed and was updated- 9th February (IOM clinic). Passport request & BVL:16th February! A 2.1 language graduate with work experience in business management, I did research a lot though on how best I can relate my language degree to my intending course by answering questions that could arise in the mind of the officer(s). Why I do not want to go for the general status quo language degree holders go, what influenced my interest in the intending course( my workplaces) how my language degree will also come in handy and so on..... , future job statistics for the course in Nigeria, areas in the industry that there is shortage of man power. I read and used positive projections for Nigeria by business experts and used lines here and there. But in no way can i attribute this to my application been approved i only tried my best and handed it COMPLETELY to GOD backing it with high praises Documents submitted- Very basic I had little though. - Degree Certificate -Transcript -WAEC - Bank statement of dad( main sponsor) savings and current: reference letter for the current as the bank could not issue a bank statement , and myself as the co- sponsor. I paid my fees myself and have sufficient funds for my intending stay. -Reference and confirmation of employment letter from ex employer outside Nigeria, returned home during the pandemic and took up a non- paid internship to show I am not just sitting idle. -Work permit ID. -SOP( through the help of this platform I was able to explain and sell my story). - Past employment letters and payslips. -Affidavit of financial sponsorship by father. - Tuition receipt -Tenancy agreement and very old CAC certificate from the 80's! -Pension certificate from workplace in Nigeria at the beginning of my career. - Volunteer recommendation letter in the past. - Police Certificate outside Nigeria where I had spent more than 6 months and in Nigeria also. I give all GLORY to GOD not by my might. Lekiboboe,Just Mellow, Frank, deoemmanuel, frathmarty Hope am spelling right,LOL! Thank you for always taking out time to help others, God bless you all. Those waiting yours is coming, and you will also write your success and landing in Canada story! Lekiboboe and Frank, me I still have a question posted weeks ago not directly to you guys though ,did not get response should I post again or send privately. Am on my knees oh! 21 Likes 1 Share |
