bigfish3k:CBN leader should have invested in bitcoin and ethereum. ETH is still very low, but will reach 10k before the year runs out. Imagine them investing 10b dollars in it.... They need to be smart too. 11 Likes |

rottennaija: What are you saying? You think there was this much hype after the bear run of 2018? Everyone called it a scam and pulled out except real investors. You think the people in it now are real investors? Wait for a bear market to find out. PS; I pray it never comes like it did before though, so many will get wrecked. |

catice: LOL, Nigeria is just a paper horse. The day CBN released crypto ban, Bitcoin didn't even feel it in the market, ever since that day, btc has gone to achieve record values two times. We are the govt, not Buhari or CBN governor. For as long as we Nigerian youths embrace crypto, there is lil Emefiele or Buhari can do. 11 Likes |

Simple They'll get international credit/debit cards allocated to them that can convert crypto to USD. They won't need CBN anymore. They can do any transaction online and withdraw cash at the ATM. If CBN wants to curtail 419 it must control crypto not ban it. Just preach the risk, set transaction limits to protect your financial institutions and monitor, monitor, monitor! If not international institutions will step in and gain agency. Your country's wealth will be transferred to those other institution's countries 11 Likes 1 Share |

Ghostmode2two: I doubt your friend was ever trading crypto, a real trader will have ways to beat the useless policy from CBN and wont even ever consider shutting down. I have bought and sold btc since that memo was released. 6 Likes |

This is exactly what it is supposed to be. The government cannot hold us down because we are the jet age. The people in government can never win any tech/digital war when all they know and are still using is their analogue approach to all things tech. |
