Good morning, I use a Camry tiny light but had issues with my brake which I was told to change the Master brake and I did only for me to travel from Oyo to Ibadan and notice the brake getting flat again and my co Traveller suggested maybe it's because of the long distance cos he experinced same with his Lexus RX 330 as well. In getting back to Oyo I took it to the mechanic and it has not happen again but I'm still Within my area. My dear is for it not to happen again when on a long distance drive.
Please What might be wrong and what correction should be made?
Thanks
@Gazzuzz

Heat.

Temp buildup, driving pattern , boiling brake oil.

Brake oil quality is very important, try to use high quality brands.

Heat buildup caused by sticky calliper pins should be serviced or replaced .

Avoid hard braking and continuos braking when on a trip and adapt a steady moderate pattern to reduce frequency of braking .

High quality brake pads should be used, when you use low quality brake pads, your stopping distance is increased and the duration of braking and intensity increases causing a build up if heat which is transferred to the callipers and finally to the brake oil which begins to boil.

Let's take the queries again, but this time with a little compassion now knowing you are a woman that is naive and has no understanding of how an automobile works.

This should be your 2010 matrix which u almost put on uber in June 2020.

CV axles aka shafts are usually sold in pairs if you are buying used ones, or single units if you are buying the head.

A pair of used C.V axles for your vehicle will depend on what type of engine it can with, and the issues surrounding it's replacement .

The 2010 matrix comes in 2 engine variants that broadly determine the price of the axles and also the transmission setup would also be a determining factor as it also comes in 4X4 as an option.

To respond I would need the vin of your vehicle

Hello Gazzuz. The idle air control valve in my 2005 accord has been having issues for the past two weeks and recently the mechanic resorted to blocking valve opening in the throttle body with a papper using glue and then puncturing a little hole on it. It seems to work fine when driving but usually gets very low and even stalls in the morning. I don't know what to do anymore.

How can you be detecting transmission noise on a stationary vehicle?

I might be wrong but seems you just have a slack serpentine belt.

If that is all you are going to replace then please note that the replacement will just be for decoration.. It will not function next time an accident occurs

Good day everyone
Please I need your advise and help
I have a Toyota 4runner 2001 4wd model
Recently I noticed it is having a slow take off
Took it to be scanned and the guy said its either and electric problem or the valve body
The valve body has been replaced and the electric components checked but its still having the same issues
It doesn't move from gear 1 unless you manually shift it to gear 1
Pardon my write up, I do not know much about cars
