Awumen
Good Evening
Thank your for sharing this experience.
My wife has similar case on her vignette endorsement , but she is yet to get her BRP. However, will it be wise for her to send the email or should I do it on her behalf since she is my dependant?
Is your wife in the UK already? If yes, then send a mail to an email (sheffield) on that link as soon as she gets her BRP.
I sent an earlier mail but was told to email my BRP as soon as I got it which I did. Please include a copy of both vignette and BRP in mail

Please guys...
Faithluv5:
Hi guys, Thanks for your apt responses as usual. I have another question,
My transcript with me had a small mistake (the front was okay but the back had a small problem) instead of mathematics at the back for my degree awarded, it was Physics. I don't know if Nottingham Trent university noticed it but I was given admission,

Do i quickly request for another transcript? Will i need my transcript for the visa application even though i have an admission already

1 month? Gosh, please go to keystone, UBA, Sterling or ecobank. Keystone did mine in 4-5 days back in November and I still read almost same review on them
Do you have to be banking with them?

Please what happens when UKVI ask for passport to be resubmitted. I have submitted today and I have been expecting an acknowledgement from TLS but nothing yet? Should I be worried?

You dont need to use the street abokis.
There are reputable currency exchange bureaus around, in the airports, in the major hotels in big cities, etc. who will not give you fake currency.

I used 54gene as recommended by someone on this thread. Did the test friday morning, results came out Saturday morning,, thats about 24hours, I travelled Sunday night.

Thanks to everyone on this thread who asked and answered questions.

We had to pay the 210GBPs each (myself and spouse) while filling locator form. The home covid tests where delivered to our apartment before we even arrived in Sunderland. Took and posted the first yesterday being day 2. the 2nd is on day 9.

Thank you. I can still do on thursday and it will be valid for my 11 pm flight on sunday right?

Pls I would really appreciate it if help/clarifications can be given from this house pls.

I am preparing to submit my study visa application. I got admission for September 2020, last year, and I opted for studying online as a temporary remote learner to resume 2nd semester this year. My university just issued me a CAS this week and I'm planning on applying next week. I am self-sponsored.

Is there a need to state where I got the funds from like using a "gift of deed letter" from my parents or something?
Is there any need to submit a work reference letter (or any work-related doc) for the visa application?
In my 28-day bank statement, there was a deposit of 300,000 naira from my mum, Is there any need to explain this pls?
Is there a need to attach a cover letter explaining how much I have paid and how much I have for the application, or that I wanna have started online remotely as given by the school?

Sorry for the many questions, Your response is highly appreciated.

Thank you!!!

Before going to aboki,if you have a return ticket, your bank will give equivalent of 2900 pounds. So you can try that for a starter. However load your naira card you can buy ALOT on amazon paying with naira card

VISA VISA VISA!!!

I don't know where to start but these last 42 days have been something else for me but I thank God the end of it is sweet.

Submission - 10th December
(28 day count started on 7th December. This was the primary cause of my sleepless nights when people told me I should have waited for the 28 days to be complete before submitting, that it's automatic refusal. Some even asked me to cancel the application and start again. This was difficult for a family of 5 so we prayed about it and moved on - God answers prayers o)

Biometrics- 7th January (standard)
Now the long wait began.

Non straightforward mail - 25th January (12th working day)
Like play like play, it reached 29 working days. No mail, nothing. Hmm!

Decision confirmation mail - 15th February
After several mails and back and forth with UKVI

Collection mail - 17th February

Collection - 18th February
All 5 of us got our visas

I appreciate everyone here especially @lagosismyhome @mimilyrics @sandradee @wakandaprincess

Thank you all.

For those waiting like I did, you will all get yours too. Its a matter of time.

Please my dear men and brethren, if a bank statement here in UK reflects the lumpsum date with regards to the 28days, will this leads to visa denial?

N/b unlike Nigerian banks statement that one can chose what date to print from, my bank here said statements are generated on a monthly basis.

Please any help to know if the lumpsum that is genuinely my money will raised any issues in terms of visa denial
