beware of this in P2P trading:

Reversible payment

Another common scam is the reversible payment. In such cases, a buyer first transfers the money to your bank account to make you release the crypto. Within 72 hours, the buyer calls the bank and tells them that he has not made the purchase, so the bank will cancel the payment, causing you a loss in crypto.

An easy way to protect yourself against reversible payment is to ask the buyer to send you a photo of the transfer record as proof of his or her purchase before releasing crypto. The user cannot claim that he or she did not make the payment

You just made up this scenario in your head or what?

You must have been accumulating since last year or prior.

I still don't get this perceived negativity of some here. They ask you is this coyn good to go, u say no. They ask about others, u say "shit coyn". They ask you to recommend, u say select from top 20. They select from there, u still complain and say na shit coyn. Why not tell them what is preferable instead of rigmaroling? Makes one wonder if you even know your stuff.

If they were all waiting for the elusive coyns, na so some for don miss bnb & bteecee that has appreciated in value.

It's always good to go with your guts while sifting out the noise from contents. I saw bnb go from $39 to $140 and crash to $118 before I pulled the trigger. If I was waiting for someone to tell me what to do, I would have missed out(even though I missed out earlier at $38)

Meanwhile, technical analysis should support fundamentals of a coyn, on the subject of bnb, there are many factors at play here:

Ease of use

Cheaper fees compared to ethy gas fees

Scalability etc

Hypothetically say there's a crash, how can bnb go so low to zero or $5? except there's some unforeseen circumstances, act of God, coordinated attack (cyber, political etc)
I don't see it crashing to $40 anytime soon. The ecosystem is important, retail investors trade with in and settle fees with it. We haven't touched mass adoption by the big institutions or the bigger whales like Microstrategy, Chamath, etc

I was always sceptical about Ltcee for many years until last year when paypal announced they will be going cripto and included it for integration. Let's see how Q1 will go and if they include it but that should tell us something, mass adoption is getting closer and closer.

Let's encourage one another and keep digging news catalyst on the horizons.

Those of us on Cøinbase who haven't migrated to Bïnance are on the losing side of a war between B.Ñ.B network and E.T.H network. If Cøinbase doesn't start to support B.N.B network, they may start to lose customers.

Do you get

This thread is slowly becoming filled with hate, once someone comes up with a coin that he/she own and it’s doing good, the next thing is others that don’t have that coin will start saying rubbish about it..... “it’s a shit coin”......” it’s a pump and dump”......”I pity who will buy it now” blah blah

Yesterday one was lowkey wishing for bnb to the price I bought it, so he’ll come here and and later form analysts and get more approvals and what not

One thing I’ll always say is b4 you get a coin, do research on it, search goggle or Twitter, if you’re totally convinced with the project then you’re buying it with full assurance, whether it goes up or down momentarily, that’s why I don’t recommend any coin for anyone here.

I seem to be the only one not understanding this "taking profits" phrase being used here. Or is it the same as normal trading which is buying low and selling high whilst expecting it to go low again before buying again? If that's the case then I don't see how hodl and taking profits will be in the same sentence.

Sorry I am asking though cos the phrase still confuses me till date... Let's take for instance:

I bought 1 BnB @50k NGN and after a week, it's worth 80k NGN... How do you "take profit" in this scenario? Cos if you take away the added 30k NGN from that coin, what's now left for you isn't 1 BnB but a fraction of it.

Unless you're saying you are selling and hoping for it to dip so you can buy again... Then if that's the case, then you're not a hodler but an HTF trader.

Bull runs are not for buying coins with the intention to "hodl for many years", it's time for taking profits. Taking profits could mean selling off your bags (that you bought in the preceding bear run or at the beginning of the bull run) bit by bit at different price points like 2x, 3x, 4x, it's really up to you. Even if you sell off everything once and buy back higher, as long as you buy at a strong support and the coin is in a confirmed uptrend, you'd most likely still sell at good profit.

The truth is no one knows where the ceiling of the bull run is, ƁNB could run up all the way to 1k, 2k, the bull run may just be starting for all we know, the only certainty is that a bear run will follow. And if coins can do 2x, 3x now, who says they can't do -2x and -3x in a bear run? Even if ƁNB pumps to high heavens now, it'd still have massive correction later, and that is the right time to buy with the intention of hodling, although most people still wouldn't then

Thank you Ronin. So summarily, "taking profits" is still the usual selling of one's coin at a given point and (maybe) buying back later. Thanks

In the short term, never sell all your bitcoins with the hope of buying it back, it might not dip this year.
Only sell a portion if you need to take some profit or if you want reduce your risk.

Check out SXP too, it's from the same team currently at 2.7 or so....they say it's gonna perform as well or even better than the XVS...
I already have SXP in the bag. Dumped some at 2.4 while still holding a large percent. I am ready to buy back if it dips.

Modified: just checked to ser that my bag of SXP is empty as it finally hìt the limit of 3 netting me close 50%. Watching keenly now to load up on dips
