Hello everyone, I have been asked by IRCC to submit mybankstatement and IELTS so they can process my application through the NSE route. However, the funds I used for my proof of funds have been transferred back to my parents' account (I was self-sponsored) through my other account. So my question is that should I transfer the money back to my account. Does this affect my application or should I just move on from it and allow them to process my application normally. And I would also like to know if anyone has gotten approval here without going through with the NSE as requested and how long did it take? 1 Like |

Hello, please was it the exact amount of money you had as proof funds that you used for your NSE? I have been asked to submit documents for NSE but I already moved the funds from my account to another account, so I don't know if I could transfer the money back or I should just ignore the NSE thing. olasubomy: 3 Likes |

Qcanvs38mimi:Did u pay the transmission fee? If you had your biometric in Lagos, you have to pay the transmission fee, I think some people are able to get it done without the payment but some people get screwed over. We paid late and sent them the proof, hopefully they get it 1 Like |

totee1999: I submitted my mybankstatement certificate exactly the way it was when the request came in from IRCC and yes almost exactly the same money, The decision is up to you if you want to respond or ignore IRCC request and allow your application to follow the normal processing channel. Should in case you want to follow the NSE route, I would advise you not to move funds for now as this would be flagged by the visa officer when they see inflow and outflow of lumpsum transactions. Please submit my bankstatement certificate for both bank statements and attach a one-page official letter to explain the movement of funds. I almost also wanted to move funds when I got the NSE request but my bankers' advised me not to try it and submit the statement the way it is. I wish you success in your application. 2 Likes |

Hello guys! Newbie here. I recently got admitted for a pg certificate in durham college. I’m applying online for the study visa. I just have a quick question: Is it mandatory to submit my online application and medicals at the same time? I’m asking because I don’t reside in abuja or lagos (being the only locations with approved medical centers), and I’m trying to conserve cash as much as possible (i.e avoid making 2 trips to lagos). Forgive my naivety but tell me if this is a good idea: 1. Complete the online application and submit all requested documentation 2. When I’m invited for biometrics (hopefully in lagos), use this opportunity to do my medicals at once. If not a good idea, can you please advise? Thank you in advance. |

If you are sending through UPS office: #16,700 plus additional #7430 for transmission fee if you didn't do your biometrics in Abuja. Tohbieee: 1 Like |

totee1999: Hello, Am not an expert but I feel you made a mistake. I feel since you mentioned that the money was for your study, you should have allowed the money to be in your account all through the visa application until you get your approval. Instead you moved it out after submission, and now they are asking and you want to bring it back. It might make the VO think that the money actually won't be available for study as you sent it back to the owner immediately you submitted and now we have asked for it again and you brought it back. The VO might think you borrowed it and it isn't actually yours as your indicated. So for me, I would advice you to leave it and let it go through the normal route but instead, write an LOE on why you can't meet up with the deadline. |
