Good day everybody , Is there anyone here in Saint John , New Brunswick. I am arriving soon and have been trying to book an apartment on Airbnb for self isolation. Almost all are shared apartments. I won’t mind any advice or other alternatives Thanks 1 Like |

silvamania:You could look at getting a basement room even in a shared house so long as you adhere strictly to not interacting or talking to anyone in the house and you make pre-arrangement to have all your needed supplies left at your doorstep. Alternatively, you could consider doing your quarantine in a close by city with more housing options and then move afterwards. 2 Likes |

You people that are traveling this month and next month, you do realise that stringent travel restrictions are currently in place. They are bouncing people seriously at the airport. Today, over 150 people were asked to go back. If your COPR is after March 18th, I suggest you check very well before booking your flight. Canada no be like Nigeria oh... they will bounce you sharply. 1 Like |

Yes. When I got my ECA from WES the DoB stated on it as seen on my transcript for my 1st degree was totally different from what I had filled in my WES application. I sent WES documents to prove my correct DOB. But after one month of waiting, I was told my school would have to send another transcript to them. I was not ready for that stress. So, I went ahead to submit my application and wrote an LOE explaining the mistake. I also attached every document pre-university that showed my correct DoB (national ID card, birth certificate, baptismal card, WAEC certificate). There was no unusual delay in my application process and the GCMs notes I ordered didn't even mention it. JIREN01: 4 Likes 1 Share |

Dejavu44: Buy a prepaid sim card on Amazon. (Koodo is $10 - check if the network is fine in your area on whistleout.ca). You can open an account with your Naija passport and COPR. Check the bank website to book an online session (I'm sure you can do this with RBC). Request for account statement/ debit card immediately. You can then use the statement/ letter in the debit card envelope as proof of address for SIN registration. 8 Likes 3 Shares |

What is the average income of a migrant who works in Canada when his/her qualification is SSCE and what is the average amount of feeding expenses for one person in Canada? Also, what type of jobs are available for someone with such qualification. Thanks. |
