lekki1444:See it now? We have complained about the elders for years. But in the time being, instead of maintaining discipline, we have been f"?**king around, totally blinded by the sparkle of mobile phones, and computers, and young girls nyash. Now that it is time to stand and fight the final battle, all the youth are finished and drunk. The elders will LAUGH at us AGAIN and forever. 1 Like 1 Share |

I like the idea but they should start by engaging in the systems and politics that exist by showing us their voters card and evidence of voting at last elections. Also who are their leaders none of this anonymous nonsense while Bobrisky and his supporters push button behind. Finally the older generation will not disappear so what’s their plan for engaging the whole population not just a portion of it. |

All these you've stated about the youth of Nigeria may be true but if we fold our arms, it will only get worse and worse. Mean while, the fact that some indulge in these vices does not mean that we can no longer reason productively..like burna boy's song, these youths are only monsters made of the many years of hardship and suffering. Our girls use their body to earn a living due to lack of basic privileges. We cannot blame anyone for trying to survive because many of us may do the same 'yahoo' if we had to start where they stated from. I totally understand your feeling that the minds of the youth may be irredeemably corrupt but the solution still lies with us. Just a few good youths can lead the others into the light. venger: |

I'll start with the know-how.. We have capable youths for the Nigerian project .. What we seem to lack is the resources to effectively run campaigns and confront the old generation politicians in elections. Think about it, who will sponsor your nation wide campaigns when they know you will not steal and refund their campaign expenditures when you resume office. When they know you'll probably block all the corrupt policies that enrich them as business men And lastly, we know elections in Nigeria are all about manipulating state institutions like the police, inec to perpetrate oneself in power. The youth definitely cannot compete in that league and therefore only one thing can work Revolution!! calcal: |

RichDad1:You didn't mention poverty. There are youths that are not so greedy, selfish and wicked. How can they get candidature/candidacy for governorship elections? How can they even secure any public post at all? The cost of deriving power is too much for some to afford. |

Does the constitution support anything except overly selfish, greedy and wicked people in the government most especially the government at the centre? |

Like father like son.... show me any trust worthy youth in Nigeria, you cannot be sowing maize and hoping to harvest rice...is it not youth like Desmond Elliot, Yaya Bello, invictus obi, and numerous number of other lazy youths that have sold out their voice and turned voiceless to the point they can't even hear themselves not to talk of others hearing them....all Nigerian youth is a potential thief, scammer, looter.... what many don't know yet is that the kind of looting that will take place in this country when a youth takes over will be so alarming to the rest of the world, Abacha will know he was only an apprentice wherever he is....if you want to understand what I mean, check SUGs of all schools in Nigeria, point one that didn't loot.... just imagine if such is allowed to assume the highest position in the country... Nigeria is not a country |
