That's why Silence suits you. The day Osimhen picked up his injury, please how many assists did he bag that day? Can you answer that? Also, the last game he played for Napoli before his Injury, did he score or not? Biko answer. Yet you are here blabbing nonsense about a lad who is still playing with a cast/strapping to his shoulder on recovery from a long lay off. A lad who isn't at 100% yet. And you call his play "running up and down" for nothing. You really don't know ball. Before Osimhen's injury, lad was in the top 25 in the league for Most Key passes made which is a clear reflection of how much he brings his teammates into play as a striker. Now on this, Haaland is no where to be found much. Not even in the top 50 at any time in the Bundesliga because he dwells more on being fed than feeding others as much. He has 3 assists from 15 starts but Osimhen at least has 1 from fewer games (6 starts), 5 starts which came before his long lay off. Lol... Makes crucial finishes and leads his team to victory yet they sit outside the UCL spots in the Bundesliga. They sit in Sixth place for goodness sake. Dortmund have been on a downward spiral in the league with Haaland up top and scoring for your info. They are in danger of missing out a UCL spot but one night in the UCL is what you want me to focus on only. Lol Osimhen's last game in the league was against Juventus and his team didn't lose. He's not at 100% yet but he still gets picked by Gattuso because he offers much more than a 100% fit Petagna would. Different fans and analysts on Italian twitter admitted having even a 75% Osimhen was better because he would push up against the Juve defence keeping them busy than a heavier and slower Petagna would. They knew they needed him because they were at their weakest taking on Juventus and luckily they still got the win. And you tell me the lad offers nothing. And this is even a 70-75% fit Osimhen. You really don't know what you talk about. Osimhen is more well rounded than Haaland and that is a reality you will eventually swallow. The fact that one scores far more goals doesn't blind me to the fact of who is more well rounded. It's all about preference as both are top young strikers. And I repeat, Osimhen offers more. Even their national team stats show this. JohnBullMySon: 2 Likes 1 Share |

@bolded... This rubbish take you guys throw up everyday. Onuachu has better than Haaland's stats this season and sits third in the European Golden Shoe Rankings yet this thread hasn't burnt down. Osimhen absolutely destroyed France without playing the remaining 10 league games. His stats were beastly and he won a couple of top accolades yet this site didn't break. We are still here having moved on to the present. Even Iheanacho's first season had numbers that made him the deadliest striker in Europe at a point (based on goals/mins ratio) deep into the 2015/2016 season and was covered by UK's Telegraph and I don't recall NL being crashed because of it. So Biko... Say something else. This line is stale and proven to be fallacious. Just lies you lots throw up all the time to sound smart and legit And the well rounded stats do show in his assists/key passes stat. He had 1 assist for Napoli in 5 league starts before his injury. Since his return, he has started just one league game which was against Juventus. Before his injury, he was in the top 25 for Most Key passes per game in the league and sitting in the top ten for most Key passes per game among the strikers in Serie A. Haaland on the other hand isn't in the top 40-50 in the Bundesliga and was never at any point close to the Top 30 even. He has only 3 assists from 15 league starts but doesn't have as much key passes at all. It is so because he is a lad who thrives as the ultimate poacher and finisher and is concerned with being fed rather than feeding others as much. Also, internationally, their stats clearly also show that Osimhen's all round game is clearly better. But time will show that even more. For now, Haaland boasts 1 assist from 7 international caps while Osimhen boasts 4 assists from 9 international caps. So stop your ignorant yammerings and do some proper research. Merci. elyte89: 2 Likes 1 Share |

TheSuperNerd:Your problem is that you don't like to calm down. Nobody said Osimhen has no potential nor the fact that his previous injury has no impact. everybody agrees otherwise. But saying that Osimhen in his current state is better than Haaland, that one is pure nonsense. let's wait till Osimhen proves his potential first. 5 Likes 1 Share |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 3:10pm On Feb 20, 2021 |
Your problem is you don't seem to have the capacity to understand analytical statements. I said Osimhen is the better all round striker (i.e the better well rounded #9) and I am talking attributes and not just numbers. I am talking how both players execute the #9 role. I am talking the qualities of both players in the CF position having watched well over a hundred games of both combined. I am not talking who has the most goals. Most goals is Haaland and will always be Haaland but on who brings more to the role, I say it is Osimhen and I have the analyses to show this (and have even dropped a few in my previous comments). But ofcos... You don't pay attention. And expecting Osimhen, who was on fire for his new club and country while still settling into his first season to suddenly get back so fast to his flow and form while just returning from a long layoff of a shoulder dislocation and Covid, shows that you absolutely have no idea what it takes to have your shoulder removed from its socket. So you should try it and know how it feels. JohnBullMySon: 3 Likes |
