Good day chief, in as much as I understand that u have x5 of the required funds, I'll like to ask if you explained where the funds came from, because they also know about Nigerians accumulating funds from different sources just to boost their application, they've been reviewing for years too, the best bet is to show 1year fees plus living expenses funds..and also explain where the funds came in from with evidences e.g receipts of payments, itself it was via contract, the evidence of the contract and who paid it..you know, they need evidn3ce of how the money came in....

Legacyedition:
GCMS note out.

VO saying he's not sure how the fund was accumulated, then go ahead to say he's not sure fund will be sufficient for study again.. Available fund is more than X5 of whole study cost.

Kindly advise generally.

Good Morning House & Happy Sunday,

I am a graduate of Sociology with a 2:1 (4.28), 2018. I applied to Manitoba 2019, Sociology & Criminology, I didn't get admission. I applied to Manitoba again 2021 same course, I still didn't get admission, same as Windsor for Criminology. I didn't get admission still. I was already getting sad. So I decided to apply to Memorial University, "Folklore" shortly before the deadline Jan 15th as advised by someone with similar experience who has been active here.

My questions are:

-What are the reasons for me not having admission to those schools even when I was thorough with my SOP & other documents?

-When does admission come in for applicants to Memorial University since I applied Jan 15?

-What advise can I get with regards to applying for other schools or should I be patient & wait for Memorial University?

Please I need your responses and advice. God bless, thank you.

I have a 2.1 bsc information technology, my sponsor is my dad (he declared 8mil naira), he is retired. But I am partly funding my education in Canada from a joint estate account owned by me and my sister but bears my late mother's name because the account was opened to transfer funds owed by the Nigerian FG (declared 16mil naira)
Chief, with 2.1 u cant be going for PGD, you ought to have put in for MSC. That's a concern to the VO as per purpose of visit, this guy just wants to leave his country..
About the available funds, it's fine, just rewrite the LOE that d funds declared are available with vivid evidence of where the money is coming from, those ones are generic. Once you tackle the purpose of visit, the others are small..apply for MSC n not Pgd..it will end in praise.

Please in a case where an applicant provided two sponsors’ statement of account alongside the applicant’s statement of A, and then an NSE request was gotten.

Would the applicant have to submit MBS for all the three initial statements, or can the MBS for the main sponsor be submitted alone if it has well over 30k CAD?
You can submit only the main sponsor if the funds there are enough for the expenses. If the co sponsor also wrote a letter of support, you'll need to submit the persons MBS too

Hello house please I need help. Like I said earlier, I am planning to start my application very soon. I want to ask about this *mybankstatement* I am planning to go to zenith Bank and first bank to request for my bank statements and then scan and upload directly into my application. What is your view about this ? Or it's a must I use mybankstatement? If it's a must, please is zenith and first bank working for my bank statements for now ? If yes, how do I go about it ? Lastly, in paying the study permit application fee, which one works better ? First bank or zenith Bank ? I have mastercards for both. Gurus help #afomon

Just go to zenith bank and request for MBS ,they'll forward it to the candian embassy form their end, and only send u a ticket containing ID n Passowrd that you'll now scan n upload.

Thanks boss cheesy wink But trust me. All were in the SOP. I think what happened was that my dad gave me a different bank account when they requested for NSE. Even my own personal balance is enough for a year study.

Kindly analyse how to tackle each of VO concern in next application. Thanks

I’m not so sure about this, I had an account that was created on sept 2020 by my father and was deposited with 7m for my studies, I explained that in my sop, and my father explained that in his statment of sponsorship and I was granted ppr. I think you just have to be honest and make it make sense
Chief it means you didnt read deomannuels response cos I only explained what 12months n 6months mean... however, deomannuel gave him the best response by telling him to write a letter that his bank isnt on the MBS list...hope you understand now.

I wanted to ask if there is a problem! Although my MBS was not submitted because my sponsor lives in Canada but his BS was submitted with LOE . Please she'd some light.

Hello guys I’m new here. I’m trying to apply to Canada for Msc and I graduated with a second class lower. Please can anyone help with information or schools I can apply to?
The chance of you getting a Masters with a 2.2 in a Canadian university is very slim, CANADIAN UNIVERSITIES REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF 2.1 FOR MASTERS.

Your best shot is to look for colleges offering POST GRADUATE CERTIFICATE programs related to your Field of Study or Work Experience then apply

I Used DHL

I paid for 2 Way Courier Delivery and it cost me almost 9k

Meanwhile I heard the transmission fee is for those that didn’t do their biometric in the Place there are sending their passport to but if you did your biometric in Lagos VFS I don’t think you need to pay for it..

Remember to do 2 way delivery so that after they stamp the passport they will send it to DHL to send over to the address you provided.

There is no problem at all. You have gotten a submission confirmation and that is good.

Do your battle in the place of prayer. Add a lot of patience to it and your BVL and PPR will come soonest.

You don’t need to pay transmission fee if it’s your first application and if you did it at Lagos VFS. You are good to go with all the necessary documents.

Good afternoon house, I don’t know if I’m doing this right because I’m new to this Nairaland , someone just introduced me to this thread as well, because I’m in a serious dilemma right now, I really need help and please anyone that really wish to offer me help should please do so, I need advice on what to do if it is not too late for me, because I’m hooked right now

I have a BSC in Economics and I graduated since 2012. And I have this ambition of going abroad
I’m considering master but I had a 2.2

I met this agent on Instagram and he promises heaven and earth
He convinced me that I do not need to stress my self applying for a master that I can apply for another undergraduate program that he has a way of getting admission for undergraduate studies from a particular school in canada and then when I get to canada I can decide to work for 2 years and use the remaining 2 years to apply for masters in canada because I will be issued a 4years visa.. He said he will apply at the canada embassy for a second degree on my behalf that what he need to do is to Support the application with a good SOP, he said he’s good at what he does and he has a way to package me and my application before the embassy,

so I agreed and he charge me about 300k for application fees and services charge for admission process and after few weeks the admission came out but it was a conditional admission that doesn’t indicate my course of study

I don’t have a sponsor but at that time I had about 2million in my account and he said he can provide me with a sponsor if I paid 250k and I negotiated and we agreed and I paid

After then I paid another 100k for visa fee to his account. and what we have agreed on was that he will charge 100k when visa is out

And few days ago he send me messsage that I will be the one to write the SOP accepted I will write the SOP, and I was asking him to give me some information about the sponsors and the amount of money in the Sponsors account.. he told me he can not disclose any information about the sponsors to me for security reasons.

He send me a very quack SOP samples that is enough for that VO to Denied the Visa.

How can I write a good SOP without a detailed information about the sponsor and all.

It was then I realized that this guy just wanted to collect my money and send anything to the embassy, because I see he has nothing to lose if I got denied

He also told me that I will have to pay his 100k services charge when I’m going for my biometrics and that was not our initial agreement

I’m 31 years old I’m married but I’m not legally married I have a 6months old baby right now. He said all that does not matter that he will include all of that in my application to boost my chance I have been an hustler ever since my secondary school days sponsoring my self and my sister to school We have parents but they are not well to do because my father is a retired military man and mum don’t work.

My work experience is not really in line with the course I study in school

Because I had worked in School as client attendant and also work in a private organization in production department as a production staff
And I use my car as a side hustle for Uber

I actually wanted to tell the agent not to submit my application to the embassy because getting a denial will have a lot of negative effect on my status later in the future and I may not know how to correct them.. and he do not want to refund my money back to me

Please house what can I do Please do not ignore my message in the name of God! Insult and constructive critics are also welcome

Should I just forget about the admission and the visa application because I’m sensing denial or is their anything I can do that will boost my chances..

So sorry about this. But can you tell us the agents name
So others can be aware...and report him on social media

Hello everyone...
Gurus in the house pls I need your advise
Study visa application has been on background check since Dec 9, 2021. Deferred till may 21 hoping that would give enough time for a decision to be reached, but at this rate I have no idea how long it will take.
First application made in set 2021 was declined. This is the 2nd application which was submitted on Dec 7 2020. Got notification on Dec 9 that medical was passed and Nothing since then. Kindly advise. Thank you

If you got notification that medical was passed then work is going on backend.

Intensify your prayers and also pray for speedy treatment of your file. It will end in praise.

Sis, I think you are good to go as per the finances.
You have a good profile, and its good that some money has been in your savings account for as long as 2013.
The money you are being gifted and your savings in total is more than expected. With the support of the company too and the letter, it is great.

Thank you for the response dear.

So my second question, on the deed of gift, do I need to provide more evidence to back up the relationship with this donee, his financial status and the likes. I am asking so I know the documents to start requesting for.
