Who ever inherits this shit show of a nation as president has a big problem on his hands, I support a Yoruba presidency but it's not worth the life and well being of any yoruba man. What we really need as Yoruba's is a refrendum and flushing our lands of terrorists and economic migrants, and this can only happen if nationalistic minded yorubas start occupying the legislature and each south west state ensuring state of origin registration for all yoruba's 1 Like 1 Share |

seunmsg: Who blocked Remi Tinubu's bill for Lagos to be given a special status? Was it not Ike Ekweremadu? Was he a northerner? Lol. It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a president to enjoy unanimous support from pugnacious, greedy southern lawmakers. Northern lawmakers clearly outnumber southern ones therefore in a polarized NA like you stated, frustrating & impeaching an unco-operative Jona would be a piece of cake, especially after the usual greedy horse trading & you know it. There are dreams bro; then there is reality. Wake up. 2 Likes |

myobjective: I guess the context flew over your head. How many LGA's are in the North compared to the South? How many lawmakers per LGA? Regarding population, even ignoring available statistics, who practices polygamy the most? You know what? Never mind. You are right 1 Like

Arewa1stSon: Just keep ranting. Where was the North when Buhari became the serial loser in political terrain. Only fools will forget so soon and claim that the people that brought them to power dont matter. Even El Rufai contested under CPC he was beaten black and blue in Kaduna until APC came to power. Continue to satiate your ego and see that you are in dreamland. Unfortunately, it will be too late for you and your likes |

QuotaSystem: Northern population is a mirage and if you know anything about demography studies you wouldn't explain it off with the simplistic excuse of polygamy. A thorough analysis will look at available arable landmass, industries, child mortality rate, availability of surface water, migration pattern etc. In my fieldwork, I have had the liberty to travel to many parts of the northwest and what I see is an endless barren wasteland with no one in it. 4 Likes |

Omoslim26: E never reach Yoruba turn ,yen ,yen , yen .When has presidency become tribal rotational.? It is simply north and south issue not even sub region. North east has not produce president ,so also north central, we didn't hear na our turn ,even Goodluck Jonathan na accidental president, he was just fortune to be there .His tenure was not based on rotational. Nigeria presidency is not based on micro zoning .Another issue with south east is their ever ready agitation for biafra ,it is still on board other section of the country don't trust them and cant give power to them .Hausa want nigeria unity ,and you believe they will be secured if power reside in the east. |

myobjective: I understand your plight OK, I served during Jonathan/Buhari 2011 presidential election in North East, lost virtually everything but a Northerner saved my life, it was a horrible experience but I learnt something from the whole scenario. Kwankwaso did everything against Jonathan in 2014 and Jonathan eventually lost the 2015 presidential election but barely 2 years after Kwankwaso returned to PDP and was busy celebrating with Jonathan. DO NOT TRUST OUR POLITICIANS, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE MASSES. not all Northerners are evil, not all Igbos are evil, not all Yorubas are evil but all politicians would do anything to protect their selfish interest at all times, thank you. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Maobichek: I was born and still resides in the north. Hausa/Fulani only want an arrangement where they get to dictate all the terms. Trust me, Nigeria will never develop in its current configuration and the Hausa/Fulani elites will rather die than allow it to be reconfigured in a way that will bring progress. They will continue to need a subsidy from the South and will continue to sabotage any effect to make it work because, in reality, a working Nigeria will put all the power in the hands of southerners. I supported Buhari, I was a pro northerner in the past. I erroneously see myself as one of them due to religion and acquaintance but the truth is, the only thing they need all none Hausa/Fulani for is to win elections and shield themselves against criticism. But we can't continue to play second fiddle to people that should be crawling on our feet. 3 Likes |

He knows the heat is on, he is looking for ways to save face, don't give him what he wants. The middle belt people are one of the most resilience people in Nigeria, they will fight to get what belongs to them. They should be our allies. 2 Likes |

Akanbiedu: Totally agree. They need to be put in their place. Is it not pathetic how Northerners are absolutely nothing in meritocratic societies outside Nigeria, nada, yet they keep arrogantly pontificating to rule or be attached to the Presidency in Nigeria as if it is their birthright. I guess I can understand. Political power and the Presidency of Nigeria are the only things that define Northerners as a people. Without those, they have nothing, absolutely nothing, to blackmail the Yorubas with or hold us to ransom over. The North has gotten aways with a lot because of the lack of focus, dearth of critical thinking and absence of unity in the South. 5 Likes 1 Share |

post=99276864:This is the 1st time I tend to agree with your opinion, any other combinations will drag this country down like ur darling daddy ,bubu is doing presently. I have deputised an illiterate chairman man before in a national youth association, even as a medical doctor, I know how difficult it is ,I even at a point wanted to resign. I'm optimistic that the combination of the 2 highly cerebral profs will help this country if ethnical politics won't interfere |
