Yeah i have watched it again. TAA convicted himself by raising that leg. It was unnecessary because DCL was already going down, but having raised it the ref should have given a penalty and a red card.
If however the ref was giving the penalty for the initial fall over TAA's body i don't agree with that one. If he was giving the penalty for the petulantly raised leg why was the red card not given as per the new rules?

Well the FA has asked refs to be more lenient and make use of their common sense when upholding this new rule.

Originally, as long as there is “contact” in the box and that contact stops a clear goal scoring opportunity, then it is a pen and a red card. But fans have complained about the rule so in a bid to please the fans, refs have been asked to tone it down a little and use their own interpretation of the situation to make such big calls rather than sticking to the rules like a robot. So it depends on the ref really. Like I said before, a ref like Mike dean would have given TAA a red but some other refs would be more lenient.

It is actually 13 Roland Garros for Nadal. Federer is my G.O.A.T too for the beauty of his game and for the balance in his titles. He has very good records in 3 of the 4 slams (5 or more wins in 3 of the 4 slams) unlike Nadal and to a lesser extent Nole who spammed us with just 1 slam.
