emmanuelewumi: I'm ok with the hustle part.. I'm ready for it.. I've been thinking of palm oil production but I really don't have the idea of ratio of investment to profit margin.. Kindly educate me if you can or advice on any other business I can set up. Thanks |

ositadima1: Yup.. Uk-Dion currently pays that 500k monthly for 35M investment, so I'm thinking I should be able to earn more if I use the funds myself.. I'm tired of investing, I want to set up something that I can see.. These firms may be regulated but what happens when the CEO is no more? Pls share business establishment ideas if you can. 2 Likes |

Pee2Jay9:Nobody will tell you and give you a workable business that will yield you profits. Because of they do they've created competition for themselves in their business already. These are things you've got to figure out yourself and take the risk. It's funny how some of you come to places where people that are running from real sectors of the economy and ask about how to do real business . As for your palm oil thing,I think you should talk to this guy,he might help you. Cc emmaodet. 4 Likes |

The way una de call money, e go come be like say non be this country I follow de. In my own estimation, the number of workers who have 1 million naira liquidity saved somewhere in their account as they are retiring are not up to 1 million workers. Most small towns and villages don't need millions to survive. Places where you are able to get 3 bedroom flat for 130 - 150k non need you to be millionaire. Health is the humbler though. Some terminal illnesses have no respect the individual 3 Likes |

ahiboilandgas:Bros go for am,if you apply basic business laws you will succeed. That thing has demand especially in your place (north ) because they farm a lot for a living. And you have trucks to use and haul product so that might make you cheaper than others that will hire truck instead. Then don't ho to major towns, rather be the champion in the villages because all those alhadjis and their plenty money in northern towns no go let you breathe, let alone sell Better to be a village champion than a nonentitiy in the city. 1 Like |

SeaTrade: You are assuming that those farmers for north no dey use fertilizer before Dangote come. The north is where Notore and Indorama make most of their domestic sales. Some of the governments dey even buy and distribute to their farmers or subsidize for them and all the current supply comes from Notore and Indorama. Ask any northern farmer if dem want buy fertilizer and they will ask you ‘wetin be fertilizer? Oh you mean Notore?’ . That’s how strong the Notore brand is over there. The farmers there are very loyal to Notore and now Indorama brands but Dangote get the name sha... |

Nnamz: Once upon a time, I may have been tempted to respond to all your mentions of me on however number of threads you cared to copy-paste at. But for the life of me, I can't tell what good that'd do. You clearly are on a self-righteous, guardian of the galaxy crusade. When you believe a private loan request is so horrifying and unconscionable, there's obviously nothing I can say or do that'd stop you on your tracks. So, godspeed! Since he has brought it here: If you're reading this, you have disposable cash, and can afford to extend a loan for one month, please hit me up. If you have concerns, I'll do my best to assuage them. If for any reason you can't, kindly ignore. I understand many, if not most, are firmly in the get from friends/family/'every other source but me' camp. If that's one of your financial principles, I totally respect it and I wish you the best. My one word response to that is "circumstances." However, if you can help, please do. Warm regards to everyone. Sorry for derailing the thread. -Lord 11 Likes 1 Share |

Lazyyouth4u:Dangote go relegate that notore guy and indorsma, you want bet? E go use economies of scale and his huge logistic advantage destroy market share weh notore and the indians get which I will be very happy as I hate indians(I'm not racist though). He can even do door to door delivery of fertilizer, direct to farm since trucks no be him problem, then at this point,e don be for the Indians. And he is even muslim, and you know aboki and loyalty. ahiboilandgas: That's why I said pharmaceuticals and supermarket. In most pharmacies, 90% profits comes from drugs while less than 10% comes from supermarket. There are some secrets behind why business owners marry the two together. |

ahiboilandgas: Could be dependent on location because the rate at which these supermarkets are springing up in PHC, its hard to believe the margin is small. Along Ada George, a 6km stretch of road, there are over 20 supermarkets on both sides of the road. That's a supermarket every 300m. 1 Like |

rationalmind:as a (dpr)rule stations must be 3km apart (This now abused ) this to make each station profitable and maintain markets share in the bloody red oceans filled with sharks .....like wise pharmacy is 500m distance.(regulation )Or built a refinery (capital intensive )like dangote and jump out of the bloodied shark infested red ocean to a calm blue Ocean which will remain undisputed......or make the competition irrelevant. and create an oligopoly.... 1 Like |
