Lol. You mean Christian president. You people don't have an idea how powerful the North is.

How powerful? When they’re the poverty capital of the world, with the largest population of unlettered beings on earth, housing 3rd and 4th most deadliest terrorist on earth.

North can never win South in a conventional war, South is simply constrained for the sack of lives and property.

I wish the military could apply same pressure in subduing Boko Haram.

The same pressure is applied against Boko Haram.

In fact, far more pressure is applied on Boko Haram.

Operations Rattle Snake by the Nigerian Air Force really dealt with Boko Haram and their splintered groups.

The problem with Islamic insurgency is that it is hard to totally defeat. It is like fighting a jihad. This was why Lord Lugard throd cautiously in his battle to take over Sokoto in 1903.

We've seen on countless occasions dead bodies of IPOB members killed by security forces been displayed for public viewing, heck there are several videos of gross human rights abuses been perpetuated by your security forces on unarmed Ipob members everywhere on the internet... so what makes you think the military will treat a armed group this time any differently?

And you think the military put it there?

The same military that denied killing anyone when they sacked Nnamdi Kanu's home even as many Igbos continue to share obituaries of those that were allegedly killed by the military?

Our military may be one of the most undisciplined in the world, but it would not be so stupid as to share images of dead bodies.

Awesome! kill all the terrorist including those that are hiding them, supporting them here on social media or supporting them in their corrupt minds. Bomb the shit out of them. Abba kyari. why not wait for the military to bomb them before going in. Anyways is all good, let them run to other places let this escalates for at least 20 years and more people get killed, properties burn. Who cares? I don't.

How's ESN a terrorist group?

How far has d govt gone in "killing, bombing d shit out of" bandits/killer herdsmen?

Ok we've heard, there's no ESN again, infact they've all been wiped out completely by the invincible Nigerian army. Now your attention is needed in Benin republic to assist your internally displaced brothers and sisters. I heard there's a humanitarian refugee crisis now and more hands are needed on deck to fry more akara and prepare pots of green algae soup with red oil (the ones your people called obe ewedu) to feed more starving mouths.

Make yourself useful!

Well tell that to your government that proscribed IPOB as a terrorist organization, in the eyes of the average Nigerian soldier any ESN operative he encounters isn't any different from Boko haram... so I wouldn't put it past the military to display dead and wounded ESN operatives if they ever get that chance.

ESN relocated to a new base in the forest and the joint task force retreated after failing to overwhelm them, right now the funding especially from the diaspora towards supporting the ESN operatives has been very massive, for now they are focused on flushing out the Fulani criminals from our forests, but the military shouldn't overstep their bounds, last time they fought those boys without air support they lost 8 men.
what those ESN guys go turn to after Fulanis have been flushed out is what I am worried about. This is the reason I supported the military action. Let Eastern state governors establish their own network not linked to IPOB . Igbos don’t need insurgency as a progressive people

ESN is a terrorist group.

It is not backed by law the way Amotekun and Hisbah are.

Their activities of flushing Fulani out of the forest is good, but they need legitimacy. They need to be allowed by the Law.

Otherwise, they and their activities are illegal.

“The Abba Kyari team exhausted their strength and asked for help from the military."

Did you notice something from the statement above? I am not holding brief for the IPOB nor for the Nigerian security forces, but one can sense from this statement an increasing incapacity of our security agencies, particularly the police, to tackle prevailing security crisis. We saw that already with how the Nigerian military had tried, but failed, to defeat the Boko Haram; and in how both the police and the DSS have failed to locate and flush out bandits currently terrorizing parts of Northern Nigeria. The ESN, in their present form, are just a vigilante force but yet proving difficult for police to handle. The guys had not received the kind of training enough to be considered a paramilitary force, but already they have demonstrated monumental strength. With proper training and adequate armament the ESN could drain the military out in a protracted warfare.

Useless news...

As long as ESN stays in the forests and hinders influx of Nomadic bastards without issues with the Imo state residents, I personally have no issues with them.

Nigerian leaders and security agents need to quit this charade! They are fooling no one, not even morons who call themselves 'Patriots'!

Purge the North of insecurity instead of chasing rats in the East. Mtchewww!!!

Meanwhile their leader is on Facebook barking like a dog.
Where's Sunday Igboho?
Ur people are scampering for safety in neighbouring Benin Republic as a result of Fulani continuous mayhem on Oyo, Ogun and Ondo communities but ur headache is the one barking on Facebook. For the records, IPOB and Igbos in diaspora are persuading Kanu not to return to Nigeria because of imminent casualty which his return may cause. Many people are ready to lay down their lives for him if you must know. Out of ur cowardice, Fulani herdsmen have ignored ur ranting, barking and spineless governors and their useless amotekun and have continued to kill any afonja idiot that challenge them or threaten their cows. They even have Serikin and Emir within ur territory.

Ask yourself, if the Fulani Nigerian Military and Security Forces can locate an ESN camp inside forests in Imo, why have they till date not located any terrorist bandit camps till date. Why no arrest of a single terrorist herdsmen till date?

One Nigeria is only a rouse to keep the Hausa-Fulani in power till perpetuity and to advance their interests to the detriment of everyone else. Only a thoroughly dumb and lost soul would continue to blindly support Nigeria as it is presently constituted.

Nigeria can never amount to anything useful as long as the Hausa-Fulani are at the helm of affairs of this nation. It will not matter who becomes President, whether a Yoruba, Ijaw, Igbo, Tiv, Anang, Ibibio or Igala. It will not matter if such a person has the best of intentions, inso far as we continue to be joined at the waist with the Hausa-Fulani, Nigeria will continue upon this path of self-destruction.
