Hope the borders at the South would be opened ? We are gradually getting there. Fulanis cannot close our borders and starve us. The borders would be opened.

So the North they hate so much actually feeds them.

At the same time, this is a threat that will never hold. The North also needs the south to buy their goods.
Though I don't support separations but southerners can also hit the farm.. You point not that strong..

The peaceful solution is for the borders to be opened and let every region manages herself.

I have a prophet friend, he shared something some weeks ago and this post just confirmed it. He talked about famine in the North, and also scarcity of cow meat and tomatoes in the south. He advised that southerners start to go full scale into farming and cattle herding.
These are not threat to south!
U don see who die because him no eat cow meat & tomatoes? Cow meat is beef & not that too healthy! I believe many people don't even consume it!

IPOB should also demand for over N1trn compensation since this is what the country is all about...Nonsense set of people. When u people(fulani herdsmen) were busy killing people at will people didnt demand for compensation. Now that people have risen up and kicked against u and your incessant killings and butchery u want to inflow of foodstuff and are demanding for compensation.

Keep your produce to yourselves, let's see how u people sustain the farming! U don see where seller dey brag to customer? Na who dey buy goods dey call the shot, no be who dey sell!

Exactly
seborrhic:
There was a time, about 3-4years or so ago, when tomatoes were not only very expensive, but even so scarce;it was that year I knew tomatoes were also grown in the Southwest with their own breed.
Though not as tasty as that from the North, but many people had to make do with that breed of Swestern tomatoes.
When push comes to shove, there would always be an alternative because the entire South and the middle Belt are thick in the rainforest zones, and this is always the best kind of climate for food crops and even animals.
It's just that the ready availability of these foodstuffs from the North has not made people in other zones to explore the vast potentials of their lands.

You are free not to sell your goods but where the government is helping oppression is by insisting that Nigerians can't import farm products from foreign countries! If you don't want to sell, your kettle of fish! But I should be free to make my purchases elsewhere. .. Northern Nigeria is not the one feeding the people of Egypt, Cameroon, south africa, China or mongolia. Those people get their excess food supplies from somewhere and they pay for it. Don't take yourself too serious! You are selling something you are being PAID for, more than the value. If you don't want to sell , fine! But government should open the borders so we can import better qualities at cheaper rates from serious business people elsewhere... You are not donating food to anyone.. Always remember that..

na the same you go still complain that everything is expensive....

Beef....

I hate that stuff. You can go to hell with all the vegetables. If not for laziness I see no reason south depend on north for food supply.
Research have it that two local governments in Edo south can feed the entire Edo State without application of fertiliser but guess what? As I type those local government are under the siege of fulani terrorists....

Southern governors are the biggest evil bedeveling the people of the SouthSouth region. No innovation and human capacity projects. Basically wait for alert from Abuja and the next thing pay salaries. Damn
Kingdemmu:
You guys in the South should better get used to this scarcity cause it will be the new normal for a very long time. We are even planning to completely stop taking our products down south. If una want am, come to the North and buy. We can't be helping to feed you guys while you keep killing us and destroying our properties.

it is the buyer that does the threatening and not the seller....

when U.K and U.S want to sanction Nigeria, they stop buying crude from Nigeria...

what you're seeing in the main post is called reverse psychology..

Till now, southeasterners never learn.

During the war, they used starvation as the major weapon to defeat Biafrans. Yet, they never learn anything.

So that is your plan? To destroy southerners farms/crops so they can only depend on your goods for survival?
Go ahead with whatever boycott you want to do, and see how you can survive.
