Bro, this is not to join issues with you. But you make me laugh when you say “ you can’t score 80 in a 44 mins exam no matter how brilliant you are”. Please don’t pass assessment on people based on your level. Level of difficulty of any task or screening is relative; tho most times depends on preparations and exposure. I once wrote a screening exam with Royal Navy (UK), and the maths section was 30 questions in 9 minutes without calculators. You bloody do all the numbers with only pen and paper. The Verbal was 50 questions in 15 mins, and the mechanical 20 questions in 10 mins (they ask you practical questions about the machine drawn on the question paper). Don’t take my word for it; ask around about the Royal Navy entrance exam for engineers. If you think you’ve written exams under pressure of time, wait till you write that. I managed to score a 65%. But a young guy who only finished college and wanted to join the navy as a weapons engineer scored 100%. The guy currently holds the record of the best score ever in Royal Navy exam in the UK (so they said on that day). Mind you, many of us had masters already. Meaning we already knew engineering. The organisers couldn’t stop praising him. Face the reality that people can be better than you, and may not have same level of difficulty.
This is not to rule out that some people who got the mail cheated. But what about those who cheated and still scored less than 75%? That it didn’t favour you doesn’t mean every other person cheated and shouldn’t have been called. Lemme even make an analysis for you based on the second test, at least for EH.
1. Many of the SJTs from the first test were repeated. Even those that weren’t repeated, good candidates who are very ambitious of this role could have studied sjts after the first test. At least to know how it works. I sat for the second test knowing certainly there will be sjts. If you missed that, your bad. If you also used up your time in reading the whole paragraph, then don’t cry about impossibilities here.
2. The verbal part for the EH was a complete joke. 20 questions (out of 60, mind you) on very simple “synonyms”. “ what can replace predominant in the sentence.....”. I was super amazed at the verbal that I had to snap it for laughs. Imagine you got at least those 20 verbal, that would have been 33%. So you that got 25%, what’s up na?
3. If you ever studied for this exam, especially after the first test (which you should have), you would have known there are basically two types of diagrammatic reasoning tests.....the first one we wrote in the first test and the figures thing in the second test. Only these two types online. Google for yourself now. People probably smashed the first test because the whole diagrammatic reasoning questions were from GMAT, 100% of it. So were you expecting them to repeat the exam questions, or you didn’t think there will be another diagrammatic reasoning question in the second test? For goodness sakes, the first exam was enough clue to show you the pattern of questions to come (at least for the EH). If you didn’t prepare further, but rather waited for another system failure to get a second 80%, I’m not sorry to be honest.
3. The only new thing for the EH in that exam was the numerical. And yo, that was purely GMAT standard numerical. Not to say it was very easy, but numerical aren’t that hard, they just take time.
2020 GMAT has only 200 numerical questions, those should take you only 2 days to finish, 100 a day. You had about 4 days notice to the test. ( I studied 100 in 5 hours myself). If you were conscious enough that you’re competing with the forces of inevitable connections for limited slots, maybe you for consider am. It’s a disrespect for someone to go all this length to prepare and you generalise cheating, Saying “it’s impossible to get 80% in 44 mins” (45 by the way).
Stop talking down on people or generalising things using yourself as a reference. Abilities and preparations are different. You no be reference for everybody ma!
How can someone who scored 35% for example (that’s like answering only 21 out of 60 questions correctly) come here to rant about cheating. Okay, others cheated , was that why you did that badly? Pardon my tone but the whining here really warrants it.
Brother, make this a physical exam, well supervised, the man who scored 35% will still stand no chance. And somebody will still hit above 90%.
Just be praying and stop whining. If dem keep you wey get 28% and person wey get 80% to write this exam you no still pass am. Abi did they supervise you and didn’t supervise me? Also, assuming you scored up to 70% and you believe for certain that the man who scored 80% cheated, it means you cheated for sure. Or what else could make you to think it’s not possible to get just 6 answers correctly more than you did (48/60-80%; Against your 42/60-70).
Again, this is not to say that people didn’t cheat (the system enabled that ), but whining and generalising it is very very condescending.....and I couldn’t have let that slide. Don’t bloody use yourself to judge me like my success is pegged to yours. Life no end here, move on!
Well said... That's what i tried to say after the first test that abilities differ but some people refused to agree ..the fact that you scored 30% isnt a bench mark for how difficult the exam was... 2 Likes |

This is the first time in my life I will read about a job test being open for candidates to write same exam for days. What a joke of a test. To those who did their best and were honest in the test but were displaced by cheaters I say, sorry. In the eyes of NCDMB it is.. ... May the best cheat win!!! For those who wrote those tests and scored high with clean hands, congrats may your efforts pay off well. To those who cheated to the top, good job taking advantage of the opportunity given, it is Gods doing and its marvelous in your sight. This so called merit list is to cover track. First batch with clean hands, less than very few of you will proceed to the next round and the way I see it, NCDMB seem to be in a hurry to round up. They dont seem to have the energy to invite broadly for interview screening. Now I see that they did not even do pre screening before inviting people for the test in the first place. fluffybaby: Nigeria is an interesting place. Cheaters justifying their grades, innocents crying for justice and the sellouts are quiet I have read through this thread and My...
This is one of the most accurate takes on this thread and I would explain why. First of all, there was no effort(s) whatsoever on the part of the organisers to make sure qualified people took the test. Secondly, writing a test should not be a means of interview invites (especially in this case) because number 1 was totally ignored. I know someone who has a Ph.d (arts) with over 10 years of hardcore research and you expect the person to be sidelined because of an unmanned test? The little I know it's recruitment is, your qualifications plays a major role in landing an interview too. Third, people screaming blue murder have every right to do that. So also people saying they did not cheat, do. @sanprecious and @oxyba also made lots of sense too. However, the whole testing was set up for a failure and I dare say it is and will remain a sham (my opinion) that is if they claim this is the end. Recall, someone here claimed that a friend of a friend had already seen the questions before the test started. Perhaps, that's why someone had the luxury of taking pics (photo shoots), while the heart rate was pounding heavily during the test. In all, let me share what a mentor told me yesterday. "Just keep at it, in the end, it will (success) reach everybody." Cheers! 11 Likes |

Please and please, when people talk about cheating, if you feel guilty and the need to defend yourself look away thanks because it’s not possible So you had 44 seconds per question and enough time to snap the questions? Lol
How do you know someone who is lying? GMAT doesn’t have diagrammatical reasoning test How do I know? Because I took the gmat (studied it for 3 months) lol say the diagrammatic reasoning test na from GMAT Which GMAT boss?
Lol....you shot yourself in the leg by saying the diagrammatical reasoning from first test wasn’t from GMAT. And you studied GMAT for 3 months ? Lol. Im sorry bro, It means you never read GMAT bro. Or, to be fair, you were completely absent minded. Stop lying coz of the urge to respond. I dare anybody to go to GMAT 2019/2020 and open to the diagrammatic reasoning test on it. I think after the spatial reasoning section. If any question was not repeated word-for-word, then I stay here to say I will not only retract my initial position, I will apologise to you. Secondly, go to assessmentday.co.Uk and learn sjts, difficult examples that should expose you enough. Some people took clues from the first test bro. And about studying a 100 question per day, wow! So that is difficult for you to do? Like you can’t practise 20 numericals in one hour ? Then how can you pass this exam if they make it physical. This is a competition you understand that? Get this right, I am not saying people couldn’t have cheated, but it’s very unfair to generalise that because there were people who genuinely put efforts and still scored up to 80%. 80% was like getting 48 questions out of 60. Your position seems iron-cast that everybody above the 75% cheated, and that’s a big disrespect. I have nothing to prove to you brother. There’s no sense writing about how smart one is or not here, I just advised you respect people who actually did the hard work. Mind you, Nairaland probably represents less than 10% of people who took this test, so if your analysis is based on the lamentations of people from this thread, then that will be very naive. And no, complaining about this does not even make you innocent, you probably cheated and didn’t meet up like I imagine some other people who scored lowly did. Unless you’re saying all those who scored less than 75% didn’t cheat. Also, let’s remove the fact that the system failed in the first test and most people had the opportunity to retake the test severally coz scores weren’t updated, can you honestly say to yourself that the EH questions for the second test were more difficult? The first test, by content, was more difficult for EH. We only did the test severally and that helped a lot of people score high. The second test, being partly a prototype of the first test we took, felt lighter with those 20 verbal questions. And to be honest, your crying about time shows you’re very new to this thing. That’s the main mark of the competition bro. In fact Equinor gives you 1 hour for over 70 questions and tells you plainly that you will be graded according to how fast and accurate you were. I don’t know of many test providers who still gives you 1 minute for one question. They haven’t even invited for interview yet and wailings of foul play are already thunderous. I imagine this is your first experience. Work on those emotions......sometimes you attract what you celebrate. P.S: whatever I’m saying has nothing to do with GT, I have no knowledge of their test, except for the clues posted here. 8 Likes 1 Share |

There’s no such thing as diagrammatical reasoning under GMAT sir, I don’t know the GMAT guide you studied, probably someone tricked You. We only have the Analytical writing, integrated reasoning, quantitative and verbal reasoning sections in GMAT The GMAT format is same everywhere, infact I will attach the screenshots and link to the official gmat structure from their site mba.com to disapprove this In the past 10 years, the GMAT structure has barely changed except for questions It is still an computer adaptive test If you’re referring to integrated section of the GMAT, you’re given graphs, charts and tables with information on it and you’re asked questions you can deduce from the data given and it’s nothing like what you’re insinuating Also not such thing as spatial reasoning section on gmat...the GMAT is designed for people who want to get into business schools and tests your critical thinking ability Here’s the link, Google is also your friend, thank you. https://www.mba.com/exams/gmat/about-the-gmat-exam/gmat-exam-structureSanprecious:
Lol....you shot yourself in the leg by saying the diagrammatical reasoning from first test wasn’t from GMAT. And you studied GMAT thrice?

Lol...stop being a clown brother. So this is the gmat you said you studied I think that’s why you can’t relate. You shouldn’t have shown these screenshots so that I will just assume you really studied GMAT. My advice; go to a local bookshop and tell them to give you the latest GMAT with workbook. It’s #2500 each and 3k in some places. Both shouldn’t be more than 6k (bought mine for 5k). And you’re welcome brother. 4 Likes |

Lmao This will be my last reply to you, I gave you link to the official GMAT website and you are still here clowning yourself You don't even know what a GMAT guide is, have you ever heard about Veritas prep and Manhattan Prep ? I bet not Maybe if you are applying to business schools you will understand better Nairaland really have people Imagine seeing a screenshot of MBA.com ( the official website GMAC) and still talking about a book you bought with workbook Incase you don't know, the official price of the complete set of GMAT guide for 2021 is $39.99. the GMAT test is $250 Please you can deceive ignorant folks, or you were deceived into buying another book that have relevant questions( maybe from different test makers like GRE, GMAT, and maybe SAT) does not make it GMAT book please don't say this to someone outside Also click on the link to get educated, maybe you have no interest in taking the TEST but if you ever need to attend abroad business schools in future it might come in handy make you no go dey practice for the wrong thing thank you. Should I also add that Veritas and Manhattan prep are the two most popular test preparatory company for the GMAT and some other american standardized tests Sanprecious:
