If you are buying or selling using binance p2p pls don't confirm receipt without receiving the funds..

This morning I sold 108busd at N1142 n i have confirmed payment without receiving the equivalent in my bank but wil wait till end of the day to see what happens.
I'm foolish by trusting the platform so much
What a bad day for me..
Little advice

This happened to me 2 weeks ago. I sold us.dt to a guy and before I sold,I have checked his ratings, volume of trades, time frame and so on...I sold it around 11am hoping to receive funds in my account. After 30 mins of not seeing the funds in my acct,I chat him up ,he said I should release coyns that he has sent the money....

I thought within me that this guy might be using jazz with me,I quickly take my Bible and read PSALM 4 grin to render any JuJu useless.

I told him nothing was in my acct and even sent him proof. He didn't reply any of my msgs afterwards.i called his no,he didn't pick up.

When it was around 6pm,I got tired as I sent msg to him to appeal if he was actually sure he sent me the money,he didn't reply,2 hours after,i told him I will appeal if he didn't appeal...but I know if I appeal,it may take days before it's resolved and I need the money quick so I decided to chill that I will appeal the following morning.

Lo and behold, the guy cancelled the transaction around 11pm when he saw my msg that I will appeal from my end.....

Lesson: if I had trusted him and confirm his transaction,I would have lost both the coyns and the money.

It's your fault bro.
Binance p2p terms states "don't release your coin without verifying payment". I once met a trader who requested I send coin before paying. I refused

The mistake has already been made so STOP blaming yourself.
Get a laptop and connect to Binance via chat, join the queue, you could be no 465, they do have lots of people in queue. You could be lucky if you find less people.
It may take 9 hours to get to your turn, it will be worth it as they will respond effectively and assist u.

Even after I receive payment I always make sure I recharge or make a transfer just be sure it's not flash funds lol cheesy before releasing coin..
I was a little confused when you said you sold 108busd at a rate of 1147 / dollar or something... When the normal rate should have been around 488 or so.
You probably sold to a foreigner , hope you get it sorted, try contacting support ASAP!

Don't know why I din't go with my gut feeling and sell at 58k..

I'm still hodln till the right price comes along.. It's either I get back my total investment at @55k or higher.

Guy! Risk management is key.

I always keep half my funds in cash or USDC to buy a correction if I ever get caught in such a position.

Well, don't panic. There are some good bullish signs, but if and when you get back to break even, try take some.cash out to sit on the sidelines

i am loving what you guys are doing here. keep it up.
I will do follow and contribute at intervals as i am chanced. I am not a guru but a learner also. But with my fx experiences, i can adapt in any market.
But learn from me. In 2010-2011, i had lots of bitcoins, because when it came , it was unpopular, i joined a lot of watch adverts to get bit...coins.
The price was like 0.00xxx then if i remember well. I was getting paid regularly but i dont know what i was doing or understand the future. I didnt even remember the platform they were paying into then, may be bina..nce or crypto//com. All i knew was that 30 secs pop up ads will always give me lots of bitco...in monthly in those networks.
Here am today, after 11 years or so, starting over. I lost my laptop then, totally damaged, no back up, nothing nothing. lost everything . Only God knows how i should have worth now. Any way, life continues. Learn and know that this is a long journey.. gradually we are gonna get there.. Someone said he investeeeed 15k, now around 50k, thats the spirit. Keep pushing , i am learning here many new things..

Then since i have been in the fx trading since 2008, i took it as a replacement until i quit recently aside other businesses triving, alot may know me here from those other threads. I wasted my so much time in fx, but lost more than gaining in overall. Game has changed, things are more modern. We blend to achieve greater things.

Dont be like me, to waste time in irrelevant things online then. The future is bright with cr...ypto and dont rush, LET THE MARKET COME TO YOU, DONT FORCE MARKETS. THERE ARE 10S of markets to enter weekly and ride well. Trade basket if need be, its more profitable. Dont put all your eggs in one basket, and trade with less leverage.
Hopefully i will be in good order to give many good calls soon. Unttil then, have a wonderful cryptomining,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,week ahead..

We are still waiting sir

Loud am well they don't know.

Since this c.b.n palava trader's in the p2p platform, are now behaving really funny.

I'd rather walk into a beeteecee parlour and sell my shit instead of all these, zero trust issues.

Funny how this space changes... Nobody is asking for daily 10% again.... Lol...

BTW, I still believe the conditions are ripe for a mini alyt run. Only thing left is for betece to take 51k...
Loaded with stops, just incase betece does the opposite

The trader with a $10 profit envies the trader with a $100 profit.

The trader with a $100 profit envies the trader with a $1,000 profit.

The trader with a $1,000 profit envies the trader with a $10,000 profit.

Stop comparing your gains to others, focus on how much you’ve grown

Seems you just started trading crypt0... Personally, I don't see the reason why you're panicky.

A 10% betece drop is what you're calling huge loss... What will those holding alyts say? The Betece volatility had killed them

First, betece had rallied from 30k all to 58k in few weeks without a significant pullback, it was going to pullback sooner or later... Getting in with 99% of your portfolio at 55k level wasn't a good idea. It's during a pullback you loadup and not when betece has almost doubled.

I sold some of my betece at 58k and was hoping to sell the rest around 60k. But it dipped. I've not sold yet...

Betece should still see 55k in the near future. I'd sell at that level and may scalp some alyts quickly.

Holding betece gives you some insurance in this market.
