So I was asked to submit mybankstatement for the NSE process. But my sponsor uses first bank, and since first bank doesn’t doesn’t work with them , I have decided to reprint the paper statement and reupload.

Now this is my issue, the initial account My sponsor used to apply for my visa has reduced. He has spent more than half of the money on a project

But he has another fixed account with first bank too... can I print the fixed account statement and upload with the old one for the NSE process?

So I sent my passport to Abuja on the 18th of February, after I paid the transmission fee of 7,430. I also paid for a two way courier service to DHL. This morning I received an email from VFS that my package was ready for pick up. I would like to know:

1. If I am required to pay any other fee to VFS for the pickup
2. How do I contact DHL to pickup the package.

Are there still applicants who submitted in Oct/Nov, responded to the NSE request and still waiting for final decision. I have sent mails and webforms tire and they just send the generic message that application is still under active review. My gcms notes came after being delayed and showed that I passed criminality but nothing was written for eligibility. Requested another notes last week, this wait is tiring olohun

you can use only the fixed account so long as it bears his name and has the 30,000CAD minimun

Go to First bank to print the new statement and get them to issue a reference letter addressing it to the Canadian embassy, stating that they are not on the mybank statement list and that they are attesting that you have been banking with them for so so so years and
Your funds are genuine.

Please when submitting the regular bank statement, does it have to be stamped and does the bank have to write letter of introduction?

For Authenticity reason, it's advisable it should be stamped.

Your Bank giving you a Bank Reference Letter will solidify the bank statement


To Solidify your Bank Statement . This letter will show your accounts, opening date, outstanding debts such as credit cards and loan.
In a nutshell, this letter will show that the account has been operated to a satisfactory level. It must be printed on the bank letter head and include your name or sponsors name and contact of the bank

This what most bank refers to as BANK REFERENCE LETTER

The Letter will be addressed to the Canadian Embassy

The Visa Officer
The Deputy High Commission,
Canadian embassy
4, Anifowoshe Street
Victoria Island, lagos

The bank can either give you this letter in person or they send it to the mail of the bank account owner (sponsor)

You would upload this Bank Reference Letter together with your bank Statement

I doubt if you will be able to get them on phone. Send a mail. They will respond.

Registration will commence on the 2nd of March. The schedule for Spring/ summer session has been posted. You should check it.
