Let's even forget about provision for Mama, N10,000 can't buy all the items listed in that list today but see the value of what N100 did in 1984.

The worst thing is that the "MAN" in 1984 is still the "MAN" in 2021

It is well with us in Nigeria

The generals ruined the country so much.
From January 1, 1984 - May 29, 2007, the generals ruled nigeria for twenty three years.
They could not add just one megawatts of electricity in those years..

Some people are even defending failure this administration A disaster that gave us consistent double digits inflations 16.96 and 15.90 compare 2015 price with 2020 price something that as never happened in the history of Nigeria the Naira inflation rate is close to 2000% over the period of 20 year no countries as ever experience this type of inflation

Salary is slashed decreased worst government in history of Nigeria

BMC are paid to deceive Nigerians Nigeria is doing well, Buhari and APC has further united us, crime rate reduced drastically, our economy is blossoming, corruption is almost at zero, those who ran to greener pastures are rushing back. Inflation and unemployment rate is almost zero. Lets appreciate buhari.

I just watched a video of how China govt took China from a third world to the second biggest economy in 30years the largest population in the world ooo but in Nigeria in 5 years our economy was distroyed , foreign reserves depleted and economy suffering hyper inflation with more people sliding into poverty

you saw tins of bournvita, milk, meat, dried fish, modules of rice, packets of Omo detergents, beans tin tomatoes etc and you're mentioning 10000. Even 100000 won't do. And there was even 6naira change

Well, then dollar was $1 to #0.765. So #94 of 1984 should be between #46999 (official rate) or #57748 (parallel market rate) in 2021.

Even the handwriting speak of the joy wey dey Nigeria then.

100naira with value worth of purchase that is almost going into extinction today, bought foodstuff, provisions and provided for mama's pocket money yet there was almost 6naira to rollover.

How does a child and mother experience so wide a gap in life sight that it feels like it happened two centuries before the child was born?

80 naira, not 100 naira. She gave her mum 20 naira

Buhari was the President then, and he is still the President now.
it was few months after he overthrew the civilian government. Infact the listed spending showed that things have started degenerating from then, hence he was booted out in 1985
