Rohr and the NFF were right. Tosin's heart is with England

This is gotten from Tosin Adarabioyo's latest interview revelation with the UK Telegraph.

"We know it’s the Euros this summer so hopefully if I keep on doing well, who knows, I could be looking to push myself into that squad,” Tosin says. “Obviously there are a lot of good players to choose from but if I do what I can do best there is a chance.”

This Tosin really annoyed me with his statements. Not like he owe me or Nigeria, but if he wanted to push through with playing for the English national team, he would have come out straight and not flirt with playing for Nigeria.

I wish him best of luck with his 3 lion ambition, just that I dont like 2 faced people.

Southgate and the FA really at work here. Hope Lookman does not also change his mind?

Well, at the end of the day there's no need going back to what ifs. The lad is now an English International. Highly talented lad that I rate so much and hoped he had chosen us but it is what it is. He's gone.

And yes, he can do a job at LB/LWB coz Southgate is likely to use him in a wingback role at the Euros "when" he is selected into the 23-man squad if playing a three-man defense set-up. Saka's versatility is such that Southie can feature him as a winger (RW/LW) or a wingback.
Note that I use "when" and not "if" bcoz I expect and I know he will make the Euros Squad. All the best to the lad.

Moving on from the English International. wink

Icon4s:

Yes, I know we made moves but there were peeps here who still felt we didn't need him. I can't really point out who and who exactly because you know how arguments flow here. But I remember trying to convince some on the kind of talent inherent in Saka, even when the argument was that he was not any better than the wingers we have in the SE. I remember one or two persons say he would rather he drags for jersey with our LBs. grin

At the end of the day, it's only Saka who would make the Euros Squad for England. Jamal Musiala "may" make the Germany squad too.

The likes of Tomori, Tammy, Tosin who all took Nigeria for a ride would end up watching the Euros from home. But ofcos... It doesn't change the fact that they are still living "the dream." grin

They are "English" Internationals now. Proud members of the Three lions. So it is what it is.

I don't think so. Besides his switch of allegiance papers/docs are still with FIFA. Rohr also said in his last interview that we have three players at Fulham. We know Maja and Aina are already Nigerian Internationals. So the third is obviously the lad we are waiting for FIFA to clear. Ademola Lookman.
Lookman is coming home.

Jamal muslia will eventually make the German team. He is rated as a generational talent like Messi, ronaldo or Zidane. The Germans may take him to Europe so as to tie him down permanently

Well
Good luck to all them

Any player playing first team football in the epl will always want to play for England even apart from planing for big teams

If aina was a Chelsea regular then he won’t have played for naija then

That one concern them. I wish them best of luck with their ambitions. As full adults, they are capable of taking decisions concerning their future. Regardless of the outcome, they should take responsibilities of their choices and not blame anybody should it go south for them.

I read online 2 days ago that Michail Antonio have decided to play for Jamaica at 30 years after waiting endlessly for 3 lions call up. Life is about choices.

Antonio have been called 3 times thou but didn’t make it out from the bench from a game and he withdrew because of Injury for the remaining 2 games he was called

He first rejected the chance to play for Jamaica sometime 2016 now dude wanna play for them to help them qualify for the 2022 World Cup

Well, it is not that late for him. He still has couple of years to play for his country.

I think more than anything, playing regularly for national teams somehow gives individuals some sort of identity.

Leicester has never been a top team in EPL. Rogers na known bottler. Barca, Sevilla, and Atletico all lost shameless. It took maldrid 86mins to score against Atlanta who got early red card( 17mins into play). MAN city, Chelsea and a struggling Liverpool won all their matches comfortably and in Europa Tottenham, Arsenal and Man U won convincingly. La liga is farmers league.

I think the purpose of this Principal Cup is defeated already

I'm seeing people that are way older than me( and I'm way over 20) claiming to be secondary school boys...

It doesn't make any sense
