This are kids that the system failed. If the country was good they ought to be placed in foster homes and properly taken care of.

Citizens of a country whose leaders would rather pursue their selfish interest to the detriment of the majority.


Political bigots that will fly their families abroad to excape the aftermaths of their very follies. Playing politics with matters of public concern because they seem to have built a hedge of protection around their vast empires.

Am not a prophet of doom, but i see many more of these sort rise.


Its only a matter of time; the monsters they've made will make their lives a living hell.

And to our parents.. Please this is a wake up call to us. Lets put in our very best to help our children grow in the way they ought to...

I am sorry to say, but it seems you reason backwards. Kids develop by emulating what is happening in their immediate environment. How could they have failed the system when the system never told them how to behave in the first place? They learned these acts because they probably don't have a strong support system to depend on.
If you turned out fine doesn't mean others are having it easy.
We as a nation should be collectively ashamed of what is happening in our lives. I don't live in Nigeria and I know how the lives of other kids in other countries are taken care of and premium placed in their development.
It is sad that a lot of Nigerians like you have been so conditioned with the archaic way of life that you no longer reason to know that this kind of behavior is largely not a fault of the young ones.
We ought to do better as a nation.

Being poor does not mean license to steal.

The kids parents failed them not the system, after all, they are not only the poor kid in Nigeria.

There are lot of people in poverty and they never kill or stole to feed themselves.
