Great, Liverpool performances lately is not encouraging, we are not like Arsenal fans.
It's time for Klopp to move.
Gerald was a fantastic player who has paid his dues in Liverpool, he deserves the privilege.

Sacking klopp will be a horrible decision by the management. It will be more terrible if they line Steven as a possible replacement. Though Rangers are doing fantastically well in the whole of Europe as per one of deadliest team, no losses in more than 40 matches in Scottish league and Europa they still have to be patient.

It's just a pity most Nigerians read headlines alone.

Lazy yoots, Liverpool is not sacking Klopp. Klopp is being lined up to take over as German national team coach and Liverpool board is planning to replace him with Steve G.

People are just rushing to comment without reading the article. Liverpool is not ready to let him go, but preparing a replacement should Klopp choose to coach Germany.
Do Nigerians read?

Nothing lasts forever in life, but this isn't about Liverpool planning to fire Klopp. It's a decision that hinges on Klopp's decision to take over the Germany national team when Joaquin Low leaves.

Okay. I never said you were unintelligent. Where in that article was it mentioned that Liverpool wanted to sack Klopp?

That won't be bad for the foreseeable future, not immediate future. They should learn a thing or 2 from the now infamous "Chelsea-Lampard" and "Man United-Moyes" fiascoes.

Gerard is doing well and rising steadily, but not yet ripe for such huge stage.

I expect him to assist a proven manager first, or the very least use a mid table club as a stop gap to Liverpool, e.g. Arsenal, Aston Villa, or Southampton.

Despite calls for his sacking he has remained in charge with his contract encompassing this summer’s European Championship finals and the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

But there were calls for him to get sacked in that article
There is nowhere in that article where Klopp is about to be sacked or calls for him to be sacked. It’s the German coach and Klopp is the possible replacement.

Too early. Gerard should not try it now. Liverpool's woes are not completely of Klopp's making.

Pep experienced the curse of the title last season and rebounded well. Pool should spend wisely getting a competent second eleven like City has. Presently there are quite a few passengers on that squad bus. Not enough depth in talent.

In their mind he can manage Liverpool because of his success with Rangers. That's what was thought of lampard also. But it turned out that Derby County isn't the same as Chelsea.

Why are they even thinking of replacing one of the best coaches (won two years on a bounce now) in the world with Amateur

Klopp isn't being replaced. Gerrard will be Liverpool's option is Klopp decides to leave to coach Germany. Nobody in Liverpool wants Klopp gone, but if he leaves, they need a coach.

England and overhyping their native coach.
.
He will come and fail like Lampard. You can bet it.
.
Everyone knows why Liverpool is suffering...it's all down to injury..so why can't they be patient till at least next season? England can be too biased

my question is what did they do with all the money they got from the previous winnings , they had enough to strengthen their club, get good players, klopp dropped big names but oh no they decided to play wait and see.
their transfer game really came around to bite them hard

Assiat what. Are you kidding. He is far beyond that. And Rangers is a bigger prospect than either Villa or Southampton with sure appearances in the Champions League.

He should remain at Rangers for a while until his cycle there is complete then a regular top four club in the Prem or western Europe. He is very young and will eventually coach Liverpool for sure if he consistently does well but Pool should be the zenith, the crescendo of his coaching career not the opening stanza if he wants to enjoy a fruitful career.

If he flunks it too early it can be curtains. Just look at the Neville brothers, Thierry Henry and even Lampard. It will be a miracle for them to have outstanding coaching careers going forward due to premature exploitation.

American sports owners are not known to be ostentatious. Its always business first for them. They will only improve their teams one player at a time. If you expect Henry to renovate with six or seven top players like Roman or the Qatari brothers then consider it pie in the sky.

American football, baseball and basketball teams typically donot do engine replacements.

For a rookie coach who has only the Liverpool youth team and rangers FC to his name, it's a very bad move. His points per game for this season is about 2.70. last season it was about 2.30, two seasons ago it was about 2.10. That increment isn't massive enough and forget he is winning the league this season, Celtic have suffered from alot of crises.

Wrong move!
And hope you know a rookie coach can perform even better than great coaches, it all depends on their philosophy, If Barcelona didn't give Pep Guardiola a chance as a rookie, would he have become one of the best managers today?? how about Hans Flick, who transformed an underperforming players in Bayern and won treble in his first season, Steven Gee was a success in Liverpool's Academy, Now he's about to retrieve the title from their long arch rival Celtic, So I think he's capable of taking the mantle as Liverpool Head coach....
