like!!! I bought bnb again wirh my last fiat at 210. Now it’s 198. Now I bought at 210,250 and 290. Chai. I have a long way to hold this my big bags mehn.

Next time you want to buy the dip, you may use the Bollinger Band indicator. From it, use the lower band value from the 1hr or 4hr chart to place a buy limit order.
At that price, the market value is more likely to rise than fall once it gets there. Thereby reducing your losses should the order go through and the market moves against you.

As seen from the charts below, you will see that the price tends to go back up after it gets to the lower band line as well as vice-versa for the higher band.

Buy the dip... Buy the dip... but it keeps dipping [laughs]

There are some strategies/techniques to seeing this out (bear run), and you don't have to lose money buying the dip: for instance, I woke up noticing that b t c has dipped with stagnating volume and what did I do?

I pulled out all my b t c and quickly rode a shi t coin that was pumping in the early hours of today and made what I lost from the dip, then finally left all trade because I knew the fall is imminent.

The fall commenced. I viewed the thread and kept seeing "buy the dip..., buy the dip." I laughed as i reclined in my chair.

How can you buy a dip when b t c and altcóins are both NOT only losing volume but LIQUIDITY also — I shook my head; I had made up my mind not to ever quote some set of people who antagonized my predictions before the start of the b t c bear run. And these were the same set of people posting "buy the dip ... buy the dip."

Here is the secret.

People who buys dips are long term hodlers, NOT you who thinks of making quick profit. How many percentage do you want to cover before you break even and make good profit (reason you end up buying with huge capital) meanwhile, a smart trader who has a better idea of good entry will enter with little capital and make just as much as you did if not more because:

They didn't buy dip but rode all the way up with the whales and made more profit compared to you whose huge capital had dipped after you bought dip — you would have to break even from the second dip before you see profit.

So, never rush to buy dips. Determine the following before you buy in.

1 - The new support price range.

2 - A STRONG volume.

3 - Availability of liquidity.

When all 3 are checked out and indicates positive signs, then you can buy in.

This method rarely fails me but even if it does, because of a truth — you can't predict the direction of the market 100%, so if things goes south. PULL out instantly. Do NOT HODL. Why?

Because you now have an idea of a good entry point so it's not a loss when you actually lose a minute percent of your coin to re-enter and ride up from a good entry point or will you rather you buy the dip and it keeps dipping for you to buy more dips cluelessly?

Smart trading is how money is being made, Not agreeing with the opinion of the "masses". Sometimes though, the "M" is silent.

C'mon guys......let's be using tight stop loss below strong support in these times.
If you can't use stop loss, then learn to cut your losses quickly. Live to fight another day.

This is because the truth is that no matter what the 'experts' say it seems to me we're heading to a bear market. I hope I'm wrong. But cutting your losses quickly or using a well placed stop loss may be the way to go now

Bear or bull market, you can profit, just don't be greedy. I stopped hodling and focus on just spot trading. I wish I had started earlier. You get to make good profits and be in control. You don't have to pressure yourself to make x2 in a day. If you can make on average 10% in day multiply by 30 days, that is your money doing x4. To me it is better than watching my money rise and fall several times with nothing to show

I am not lying, for the past two days I made about 30%. Yesterday, while trading I made some losses but still recovered and profit. I ride several coins to achieve this, just collecting a small profit in each, the profit compounds. I'm still learning though #DYOR. Below is an example trade, now repeat that multiple times with different green coins till you hit your target for the day, then withdraw the profit

You are right. My failure to close all my B.N.B positions when I had bought at $200 which made up my loss on my $270 position made me miss the A.D.A train. My plan was for them to both meet at $260 and I will close both positions. In the end, I only closed the $200 position at profit. By the next day, the $270 position had slipped back down and fear of having too much capital in the market while B.T.C was shivering made me close my A.D.A position as soon as it went green. That's how A.D.A kept flying while I had no position in A.D.A but was still holding my $270 B.N.B bag till this moment. That's how the psychology of one trade can affect another.

What lessons can be deduced from the pull back pattern of the 2017 bull run?

That the market down we are experiencing right now is a normal thing and that it's usually followed by a stronger upward movement afterward.

Although historic data is not a guarantee that it'll repeat itself. So continue to be cautious and be ready to exist at signs of an eminent market crash.
