Still keep looking, until the prices skyrocket and you end up buying Redmi 9c.

Mi Mix Alpha if you can lay your hands on it.

Other worthy mentions are Mi 11 Ultra/Pro(Unreleased), Mi 11, Mi 10 Ultra, Mi 10 Pro.

Wouldn't the mi 11 series chew up the alpha at this point?
cool

Not really. Except if the Mi 11 Pro will use a Titanium Alloy frame

Xiaomi go shock you with pricing when global version drops...Na their way

I remember when RN8 dropped, and it was cheaper than RN7's RRP....I doubt RN10's base variant retailing for 95k thereabout...The Redmi 9 series didn't do too well in terms of sale according to certain reports,so it's only logical for the Redmi 10 series to be competitively priced

The note 9s retail price for the base variant is still around 90k here, when the note 10 series eventually launches here, i would expect the successor of the note 9s should be around 95k for the base variant.

Isn't Redmi Note 9 different from Redmi Note 9s

Here's an extract from Xiaomi global news
Even though this doesn't certify anything until the proper launch is done

Thanks for sharing! Please how do I revert back after selecting only lte/4G
jboixxx:
Dial *#*#4636#*#* and select LTE/4G only.
Be advised that this method will restrict calls and USSD codes, only SMS will work.

33w support!!!

I'm not expecting them to add a 33w charger out of the box though

It's possible sha but one can hope they do what they did with the Poco M3, 18W charging but they put a 22.5W charger in the box.

I think the mediatek helio G95 chipset that the Realme 7 uses is quite efficient in what it does (like gaming and multitasking) because it's a part of the gaming series by mediatek. Overall I feel the Realme 7 smartphone is pretty good in other features as well.

gremp:

But mediatek are not usually supported by many graphic intensive apps which gamers will not appreciate, I think the note 10 pro will get amoled with 108mp camera, higher refresh rate and an IP52 rating with an aggressive pricing, let's look forward to march 4 for the reveal.

Realme 7 series really took a big chunk of that price segment market share last year plus the note 9 series was really underwhelming.
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by bennyefosa19: 8:04am On Mar 01, 2021
yeah plus the Realme 7 has a huge battery, a pretty good RAM and the helio G95 processor. the 6.5-inch screen is ideal too, neither too big, nor too small.

gremp:

I think 90hz will be sufficient.

It's usually a move to cut price, and you know Xiaomi is usually about that

I'm expecting a 22w charger out of the box because the pricing for the RN10 base variant is going to be aggressive (based on predictions)

BS. Since last year Xiaomi puts the charger that a phone is rated for. The RN9 and RN9s as well as the recently released R9t that were rated at 18W got a 22.5W charger.

The RN9 Pro rated at 30W got a 33W charger. Gone are those days when they won't give you charger the competition is too stiff to allow such laxity.

Yeap, but the fact that mediatek mid to low range soc are not usually supported by graphic intensive apps is not encouraging, imagine splurging on a mediatek phone and finding out it may or may not get support for high graphics later on, even snapdragons low end sd460 gets gets medium graphics in most high end games.

Really aggressive, which begs the question 'where does the Redmi x series stand now?' , they might axe the series because the base note is already encroaching on that price range.

But then again it's xiaomi we're talking about here, every miniscule gap must be filled by a product of theirs.

The Note is not encroaching on the price. They can't axe the Redmi series.

One downside of Google Contacts but I think you can only save to SIM 1. Most people now save contacts to google account by the way.

So an overclocked 2019 redmi note 7 pro processor slapped on top it's 2021 edition? Hopefully not.

Plus just figured the picture is fake. Snapdragon 678 doesn't support amoled screens. Great Photoshop though.
