So an overclocked 2019 redmi note 7 pro processor slapped on top it's 2021 edition? Hopefully not.

Plus just figured the picture is fake. Snapdragon 678 doesn't support amoled screens. Great Photoshop though.
Please where did you get this information that Snapdragon 678 doesn't support AMOLED display?
Even Snapdragon 675 on Galaxy A70 supports AMOLED display so it shouldn't be different for the 678

SoC not supporting a display type, First time I'm hearing this, are you sure, Because SoC can specify their maximum resolution but it's up to the manufacturer to choose their display panel within said resolution range.

If you have been following Xiaomi changes since 2020, you will know that it will get a 33W charger. How much is chargers?

Makes sense.

If they don't add it this time, goan call the police

We're examining probabilities here, you dey reply like Lei Jun assistant

Probabilities that are not feasible in a business sense when their competitors are dishing out 65W chargers like it's 6W.

I don't need to be close to Lei Jun to add one and two together. I don't know what brought the insults in the this convo. One of the reasons I am keeping my distance on this thread.

Small thing someone have started throwing words.

That's why it's the base variant, other variants will get higher SD 700+ SOCS... It's better than 660, 675, 665, G80 used on previous iterations.

Yeap, but the fact that mediatek mid to low range soc are not usually supported by graphic intensive apps is not encouraging, imagine splurging on a mediatek phone and finding out it may or may not get support for high graphics later on, even snapdragons low end sd460 gets gets medium graphics in most high end games.
the G95 has higher GPU scores than the 720G

I don't know if the G95 was part of the fake benchmark scandal but that being said, SD 720 has more shaders and gigaflops.

But the main thing is optimization, it's no use having the most powerful engine if there's no tyre made to handle it and there's where mediatek keeps lagging behind. Due to a lot of SoC being pushed out, app developers can't focus on all of them at once, they only optimise the flagships.
That's why apple smartphones are always on top, one chip one ecosystem therefore easier to optimise.

Snapdragon 678 doesn't support AMOLED screens? shocked

This must be the funniest joke I have heard since the birth of 2021..

You do know that AMOLED has been in existence for over 10 years..

And Chipsets that are not fit to wipe the dust off of the Snapdragon 678 have been supporting it since, without any problem?

Apart from Resolution, Chipsets have no business with screen type. But from follow up posts, I guess he has realised it.

Good day, house. Please can you guys recommend a smartwatch for me I can cop? I'm not too hellbent on the Band series because of how covert and minimal I find the design. I've been checking out the smartwatch f8, f9, and f10 series, and they look like something I'll like. What do you guys think? Also, who's a plug you can recommend to me to deliver to Abuja? I'll appreciate any help. Thanks all.

mediatek chips are less optimised than their Snapdragon counterparts but they still do good jobs. The gulf between mtk and Snapdragon is narrowing
