If yours is the blue type, then check your frequency. If frequency is over 52Hz then reduce the firing speed. Have you changed the oil since you bought the generator? You should change oil after like 50-70 hours of use.

70k budget is small since it involves powering a fridge, up your budget and buy a Thermocool bobo 2.5kva or original Elepaq contant 2.5kva gen. The current price of brand new gen isn't friendly ooh, due to naira weak value against the dollar. Just go to ant thermocool official store to check for both gen i mentioned....

Its a good gen provided you can get an original, though it won't power a 1.5hp AC.

I use my Gen daily from 7 to 12, and occasionally (not regularly) during the day for like 3hrs so that comes off to like approx 7hrs per day. I noticed that the oil usually reduces and becomes black after like a week of use, does that mean I would be changing oil every week?
It's a brand new Elepaq/Senwei 3.8HP SFE 110
I would really appreciate some advice from the pros.

There's nowhere to check the frequency, only voltage. Also reducing the firing speed is loosening the screw yeah?
