mensos544:the south west also generate electricity. All they have to do is stop medicine and heath care products from going to the north. They should also stop educational materials from going to the north. Kolanut, rubber, petrol, diesel and petroleum products which are gotten from ondo and Lagos state. Bitumen which are also gotten from ondo state should be stopped too. Frozen fish and other sea foods should also be stopped. Buying of all northern agricultural products should be rejected by the south west and the ones produced in the South West should be purchased as well as those from benin republic and togo. Sell yours to cash strap countries who already have what you are talking to them.( Even they are not buying most of your products and the perishable ones are getting spoilt.... O boy Your people are doing give away in those countries!!!!) We hear all about it as it not hidden. Other items can be stopped too From going to the north as things escalate. Anyway Let see how Slowpokes with cow brains will survive up there.( All those who think the north can subdue the south west) I believe there are some sensible ones up north but let see who count their loses more as NIMET for casted that drought would soon hit at least 5 States in the north. Please don't run to the south west but stay in the north. 2 Likes |

CaseSensitive: Northerner dey think before ni? |
Re: Traders Happy As Movement Of Food Trucks Begins From North To South by Rotimi47: 1:26am On Mar 02, 2021 |
Holocene:Recheck your facts as 90% of those items are supplied by Northerners. Northern traders are lamenting already of their loses. Let them keep the blockade on and riots will soon hit the North as their financial loses is steadily rising and most of their food stuffs are not been bought in the countries they took them to for sale. The truth is that population of the south west alone is more than that of chad and Niger Republic combined. Who dey suffer loss? Please do the maths. 2 Likes |

Owajigarrisson:You know next to nothing!!!!! Number Breakdown: Specifically, Nigerian Oil producing states include Delta, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Rivers, Edo, Ondo, Imo, Abia and Lagos. Ondo state is one of the oil producing states in Nigeria, it has the 2nd largest bitumen deposits in the world. Also, it has one of the largest natural gas deposits in the world. Other mineral raw materials available in the state include: Granite, Marble, Gold, Gemstone, Clay, Diorite, and Lignite. Upon completion of the Olokola free trade zone, Ondo state will boast of the largest deep sea port in West Africa. The oil producing areas (Ilaje and Ese-Odo) of the State.( Ilaje are Yorubas not Ijaws) Other things that are available in commercial qualities are mentioned below. Cocoa – Ondo, Ogun, Osun and Oyo. Coffee – Osun. Cotton –oyo, Ondo and Ogun Kola nut – Ogun, Oyo and Osun Oil palm –Oyo and Ondo Plantain – Ogun, Oyo and Osun. Rubber Ogun Timber – ogun and Ondo Rice... Ogun, lagos and oyo majorly Yam ... Ogun, oyo, Osun, Ondo and ekiti Poultry farms/fish farms are present all over the South West. Nigeria is the richest in lead/zinc Bitumen is a material which people often use in road constructing. In Nigeria, it was explored first in 1905. Bitumen is widely used for constructing roads in all the states in Nigeria and almost all the roads worldwide: bitumen is found in Ogun, Edo, Ondo, and Lagos. The reserves of bitumen in Nigeria are large – they are twice more than the existing reserves of crude oil. The mineral resource called talc can be found in Oyo, Osun. Gemstones with state found. Paraiba tourmaline.... is found in oyo, ondo and Ogun. Tourmaline... is found in oyo and osun Aquamarine...is found in oyo and ogun Garnet ... is found in oyo Zircon ... is found in oyo Topaz ... is found in oyo Amethyst ..is found in oyo Note that other valuable things which are present in the South West are not mentioned here but you can check on your own. You should cross check your false statement or research your fake fact to see how true as believing in your lies and your hatred for the Yorubas will surely destroy you and your cohorts faster than you cow brains think... Established facts point to it that the poorest states are mostly in the north while south west economy is far bigger than that of the entire north combined. Anyway, you people go collect if this blockade continue as the South West will surely retaliate in kind and the north will become poorer while other southern regions, benin republic, togo and cameroon become richer. You people should keep up the good work of making your Northern people or friends to suffer more losses as they loss market share in the South West as well as huge amount of money. 5 Likes |

Rotimi47:Why sweating yourself for that almajiri? He doesn't worth all these. He's pained cos we called their bluff. Mumu wanted to play divide and rule on us the way their nomadic fathers did. There's oil in tongeji Island in ipokia LGA of ogun state. There's bitumen in odeda in ogun state. Abokis didn't realize benin republic is just in our backyard. They thought they could starve us to death, lol. Those people with donkey-ish brains. I wanted their ban to span for long so we can show them serious pepper. 4 Likes |

Foolishness is saying you are blocking your farmers from trading with their oldest, biggest and richest customers...the SW, without giving a damn about the consequences of your action on the farmers Foolishness is hoarding perishable items when you have virtually nothing to preserve them Foolishness is using tomatoes and beef as a weapon of fighting Foolishness is not realizing you are setting yourself up for your biggest fear..restructuring At the end of the day, you have just given reasons for Southerners to see the importance of investing more into agriculture 3 Likes |

We the Hisbah police were so sad when we heard food weren't able to be moved from north to south. We always stand for Nigeria unity and will do our best to unify Nigeria. We don't want southerners going to buy food from neighboring countries and leaving the North in an economic crisis. It's good our officers were able to resolve this as soon as possible before spoilage of foodstuffs

No wahala Please! We have been living together as One Nigeria since 1960. Let's maintain the status quo please. Let's calm down and deal with the menace of the few Fulani criminal elements who come under the guise of Herdsmen. The true herders are peace-loving and have been with us for years now without wahala. So, fellow Nigerians, other countries in Africa respect us because of our size and economic strength. Let's unite and make Nigeria great once again. #UnitedWeStand |

The good thing about the strike is that it will be an eye opener to the Southerners particularly the Westerners. I don't care how the North will feel but one thing I am sure of is that it won't be rosy as they are projecting. Northern farmers will lose and their businessmen that deal with perishable goods will groan. It is high time they had a rethink. Transporting tomatoes and other perishable products will not profit them too. For the Southerners, they should concentrate on their cash crops like cocoa. Let the south go back to the days of old when things were better. Yoruba will be better off without the North. South east/south will not do bad too. The north too might likely not be bad though. Likevi said earlier, it will profit southwest more. The best is that all the regions should come together and become one because in unity we derive our strenght.! 1 Like |

blamingthedevil:Are the northerners feeding anybody? Are the northerners giving the non farmers farm products for free? Are the northerners the ones providing the south the garri we consumed here? They should keep their farm products in the North and wait for the south to come and beg them. This few days have shown you and your ilk that you are not feeding anybody. You are the one blocking food from coming to south and still the crying. |
