Guys, I had a lower credit in Electrical engineering after my diploma in 2019...Can I apply for Advanced diploma in university of Manitoba? I'm 27yo currently... And how long does the admission take coz I'm currently waiting for my GCMS note which I previously went for Undergraduate degree and they somehow refused me on my proposed study due to my greedy and misleading agent. God bless you people for being so responsible for us without charging us. 2 Likes |

Hello house, need your clarifications in filling the IMM forms. 1. Duration of study. Only start date was stated in offer letter and no completion date, so how do I go about this? 2. Cost of studies; "tuition, room & board and others" am I to put the risk tuition and cost of living for 2years? 3. My expenses in Canada will be paid by? Now I will pay bulk of it and Sponsor will pay rest. So how do I answer this? 4. For date of marriage, is it trad or Church or court? 5. For purpose of visit in the drop-down menu, which do I chose, short term studies or returning or others? 6. Fund available for stay in Canada. Should I put total money in my SOA and Sponsor SOA? 7. Where the asked, did you ever serve in military, civil defense non obligatory national service , is NYSC part of non obligatory national service? |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Nobody: 3:07pm On Mar 02, 2021 |
Ketima: 7. The answer is: No! (NYSC is not in any of those stated categories). 6. Yes, and explain it in your LOE. 5. I guess your study duration is more than 1 year, so it should be others (then add the number of years in the space by the right). 4. Date of court marriage/registration 3. Myself and my sponsor 2. Tuition and living expenses for 1 year only 1. If your program starts in May 2021, the next one year will be April 30, 2022; just as April 30, 2023 will make it two years. So question is, what's your study duration and when is your start date? 1 Like |

Hello guys, Please for someone who graduated from secondary school in 2018 and started university in a federal school in Nigeria but due to ASUU strike and all, lost one whole academic year and is currently just beginning year 2 but wants to switch to a Canadian university to begin afresh. When writing the SOP is it advisable to state that one attended a university previously because of the gap that will be noticed since my graduation I'm 18years Please I need answers @justmellow @lekiboboe @Franklin @awys |

You can also tweet or call them to ask if any branch closest to you can also do it. I don't believe it's only their HQ that does that. But guyyy, anything to get this approval oo! RxOtunba: |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Zodiacwarrior: 4:11pm On Mar 02, 2021 |
Teeebabyyy: Your case is plausible you just have to explain all in your Sop to the visa officer and why you want to study in Canada with your first year transcripts as proof. 1 Like |

KRTL: Anyone landing in Calgary Airport attending school at UofC or MRU or anywhere else and you don’t have anyone here Am happy to help out with Airport pick up to your school accommodation, airbnb or hotel at no cost to you. You can DM me here or search for and add Deji AD on Facebook to make arrangements. Also with exchange rates in Nigeria sprawling out of control here’s a good resource to look out for scholarships to support tuition. https://www.scholarshipscanada.com/Scholarships/32258/Alberta-Award-for-the-Study-of-Canadian-Human-Rights-and-Multiculturalism 1 Like |

Slumbergod: Hello Slumbergod, Not necessarily, only if you're not able to justify your study intent in proving to be a genuine student. You have to have a good study plan, future plan(s), funds for the first year study, and tangible home ties. If all these are met, then, there might be a chance. Best of Luck |

Hello House, I have been able to convert my booking from booking.com to mandatory quarantine booking. If you are going to Montreal, you can do same, book then call the property on +1 514-636-3391 to convert your booking to mandatory quarantine booking. Very fast and easy. This information is for COMFORT INN, Dorval, Montreal. 300CAD per night, total of 1102.59 Might not be the cheapest cheapest, but it is a very good deal compared to the stress and money for other hotels. 1 Like |
