Now, following the current situation of the food blockade happening in the country, one gets to have a glimpse of what will or might eventually happen if the country goes ahead to divide into several other countries. From what is happening, it is apparent that the North basically supplies foodstuff to other parts of the country, making them one of the most important parts of Nigeria. With the current happening, those agitating for the division of Nigeria ( Biafrans and Odudwas) should understand that it will pose a tremendous problem if this country gets divided and every ethics will suffer for it for one way or another. You seem unfamiliar with what you are talking about. You see this things you listed their, the other parts of Nigeria can also produce many of them. Every part of Nigeria can produce enough food to feed itself. The north can feed itself. The east can feed itself. The west can feed itself. But the northerners like to bring their produce down south because it fetches them more money than it would if they stayed to sell their products in the north. They are the ones who need our money.
