ayyoshert:I will suggest you share your profile , so members & dem gurus can see what went wrong in your application in relation to the refusal reasons on your GCMS notes E.g - What you studied, and your degree qualification - Job name - How you intend to fund the program etc. Cos many things on your GCM notes stated things related to Your Academic/Career progression, Job experience, Home ties, Financing your study etc. By the way, on the last page of your GCMS notes or so, there ought be a bolded VO's comment, stating the reasons why your application was refused. Endeavor to go through this content in the link below as you are preparing your reapplication Common Refusal Reasons And How To Tackle Them https://www.nairaland.com/5818588/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/28#89356538 |

Juliomikeal: No one can really advise you on what schools to choose it all boils down to what you want 1.)first sit yourself down and ask your self what you want to study and how it would help you. 2.) This is the most vital point make strong reserch on schools.I researched the whole schools in Canada for undergraduate studies from college to universities from college to universities. So take time to research and tailor it to your suite. 3.) Always check their tuition fees if it's something you can afford and always make sure to convert it to naira equivalent. 4.) Check the admission requirements some only require waec while some needs you to undergo certain exams e.g IELTS, TOEFL, SAT. ETC. 5.) put in your application for admission when you have met or surpassed the requirements and be prayerful and hopeful. If you follow all this you would not have problems getting admission and make sure to apply early at least 7months before your start date to give adequate room for visa application. All the best. |

Hi guys, Please I need advice. Got admission to two schools/program and trying to decide which one has the most likely visa approval chance and future prospect in Canada. Payment deadline is due soon and need to choose quickly. The two programs are PgD Finance in NSCC, and PgD Advanced Business Management in University of Winnipeg. |

Hello people, Please I need your advice on this issue. I got approved recently and my counterfoil has dropped. The counterfoil shows that my Visa is Valid from 4th March 2021 to 31st August 2021 My course is a 2 year course. My passport expires in 2024. My letter of admission is dated 2020 September Fall I applied for CAQ ( Quebec) in 2019 and I didn’t apply again ( so apparently I used it to apply in 2020 for my visa application) I have not started lectures online. Is it normal that the validly of the visa issues is 6months? What can I do? Also what does this mean? Though I am waiting to receive the original passport but I just thought to put this out here incase anyone has had this experience before. Please help out @Lekiboboe @Justmellow @Frankrobbn @ Everyone 1 Like 1 Share |

meemeeibrahim22: I think it means you must enter Canada on or before 31st August, 2021 unfailingly or else you won't be able to enter without applying for another visa |
