You can clearly see that it was not intentional.

There was absolutely nothing he could have done to remove his hand at that close range, but even at that, he was taking his hand away from the ball when he was hit.

When it happened initially I believed it was a penalty but replays showed that a penalty call would have been a VERY harsh decision.

Actually, most handball you see aren't deliberate. Why I believe kante wasn't intentional about it I also feel he was fortunate. Also I think this handball rule is way too inconsistent.
