Gaggii: That's true bro. After my experience, 90% of cars in the market are accidented cars. You can confirm by checking the VIN though it cost about 3k or more. I'd advise anyone to buy directly from car dealers in the U.S it's the best way to purchase a car. I never had regrets. |

Lawalmd: A month old? If its a 2003 model, for instance, its 18 years old. A 2010 model is 11 years old. Buy a can of chilled Heineken, take a seat and let that sink in for a while. 7 Likes |

Cutehector:Obviously you are not in dire need of a car yet. For you, a car only a luxury item. For some people, a car is a need. Without it, their job and family will suffer. Even if it's 300k 9ja used car, they'll buy. 2 Likes |

You're correct. My Honda Odyssey from Canada is a home for rust. However, it's only really seen when you go into a pit in a garage and view the underneath. The rust could be dangerous because it can eat deep into thick metal as well. The frame or structure of the vehicle can be compromised Faith063: |

In my opinion, the engine might've been weak before you gave it to your friend. However, your friend must've fired that car like hell, and without any pity. africanman85: 2 Likes |

Baba40: Damn right, I wonder why people still believe this sh*t. Same mechanic that cannot detect fault, mechanics are not perfect. Better buy from car dealerships in the U.S M_jautos is a car dealer in Texas, he buys from dealers in the U.S and send to Nigeria. A white man would not sell a faulty in his shop. |

Faith063:Very true. I had similar experience with very good body and sound engine but the under is a mess. I discovered this later. You also have to be careful with the mechanic inspector you hire for this as he too can collude with the auto dealer. 1 Like |

Faith063: Rust is like a menace to cars. Once u see extensive rust run, it affects aluminum parts faster. Iron parts can still hold up. Any car from Canada shud be checked for this cos of the longer cold weather there. |

Jeezuzpick:Not always true, a 2003 model car can be continuously produced over a span of 5 years or more. So a unit can be produced in 2008 even though the model was launched in 2003. 9 Likes |
