let's stop being sentimental and biased about ighalo. Musa has been without a club for nearly two years and still captains the team, ighalo isn't the problem at all. btw whatever the coach thinks is right, let him do it.

small scratch everybody go dey call giroud name, the dude is dedicated and can kill himself for anything. no be favour, no be grace. he's built like that, moreover there are strikers all over ligue 1 and even gignac has been on form for years too
Musa's case is different
- Musa is the team's captain,
- Musa didn't retire

Ighalo retired from national football on reasons best known to him, he should enjoy his retirement in peace and let's the young ones continue from where he has stopped.

Ighalo is a very good player but we've got other good players too that can fully fit into his shoes, so I see no reason why we should be arguing over this matter tbh

Instead of you guys to be praying for the sack or rohr ,you are more concerned about ighalo

With rohr Nigeria qualifying for the next world up will be 50/50
Unless he resign himself, he can't be sacked

I didnt say he should be sacked try to understand me I only pointed out the fact our chances to qualify for the WC is very slim just like Andrew pointed let's see how things unfold if rohr no win the next AFCON then he will surely sack cos of the clause on his contract to win AFCON and qualify for the WC.
If he's on the path to qualifying for the WC then sacking him for not winning Afcon would be an idiotic decision especially if we make the semis, because the WC play off starts few weeks after Afcon

Sacking a coach for not winning the ANC and worse of all in the same year as the world cup is the height of MADNESS and going by history, that project always end up in abysmal FAILURE i.e 2002, 2010. The best time to have sacked Rohr was not to extend his contract but to sack him in a world cup year assuming we qualify is MADNESS
Exactly, the best time to sack him is now and if we can't do it now just leave him till after WC unless we struggle during qualifiers

Well, I am indifferent about the recall of Ighalo.
Rohr and his team worked with him for a number years and so they know what he can offer a team. With Osimhen out of the clash and Rohr is thinking of recalling Ighalo, it simply means he doesn't have confidence in the other striking options.

If he feels he needs Ighalo to beat Benin, let him go ahead. My own be say, we no wan hear story after the game.

The truth is, Brendan doesn't really rate Kelechi IMO.
He played Ayoze when Vards went for an op despite Kelechi not letting them down when called upon, especially in Europe (3 in 7 I think playing with "Lesser" players) and disappointingly, he never praises Kelechi when due.

The reporter lined up a question in the post-match interview about how important Kelechi was but Rodgers almost looked irritated! He turned to Vards contribution in response..

You can see the spread across different zones. That is what those CAF Officials want, rather than having Nigeria, Ghana, CIV and Senegal representing Africa grin It is a pitty the word would have to chose one from Nigeria, Ghana and CIV.

This system of qualification can never give Africa the best.

Adesanya's loss shows that weight and muscle mass can make all the difference in a fight. Blachowicz used his size effectively on the ground. Decent fight.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Ppogbae: 7:37am On Mar 07, 2021
Size is huge in combat sports. Blachowicz went down to 205 just before weigh in, but after rehydration and eating right before the fight, he could've easily gone up to 220. Adesanya at most could only reach 200. If you're moving up a division, you better be ready to put on some muscle mass and size.

I think Rodger knows Nacho is good but he does not like him for whatever reason best known to him.

I hope this is Nacho's last season there and also hopes Ndidi leaves that club.

Nacho's handlers must seek a team that will sign on paper they will give Nacho playing time.

Before blaming the coach have you asked yourself if you can vouch for iheanacho attitude, work ethic, seriousness and professionalism in Training? Iheanacho is the only one responsible for making or breaking his self. I was really impressed by his last season performance

. If the coach thinks nacho is not serious or have bad attitude like you want us to assume, he should allows him to leave the club for regular playing time. He scored a fantastic goal last night and a reporter asked Brenda his thought about nacho stepping up. Instead of Brenda to answer the damn question, he dribbled his way to vardy. Na vardy dem ask am about?. I'm sure he will look for a way to bench nacho.
