Commonsense questions to ask is was the grant used to build the schools or to cover recurrent cost 47 years ago? I never realized partially covering recurrent cost of a property maintenance can transfer its ownership. This move should be resisted by all Christian schools around including those not affected by this yet because if they succeed with this demonic takeover, they will use the covido palliative to make inroad into all school that enjoyed the cash transfer to staff members. Can my neighbor who charges phones in my house after fueling my gen for one night or week use that as excuse to become a stakeholder in my generator or my life? 2 Likes |

You raised some valid points but I disagree with your conclusion sir. Hijab should not be enforced on any schools be they private or public, christian-owned or otherwise, nor should christian fellowship be allowed. These kids are in schools to learn and we have all agreed that Nigeria is a secular state. If education is part of governance and the government is supposed to be running a secular state, why shouldn't our educational institutions focus solely on academic and related areas rather than distracting students with religion. What then is the purpose of our countless churches and mosques all over? BTW, I am a muslim. martolux: 2 Likes |

lafiagi007: You are the one that is illogical...You don't change their rules to suit yourself. Go to Muslim schools. Na by force! Kwara Christian pupils are also kwarans that have right to benefit from government. Stop causing conf usion up and down. The schools are called christian schools for a reason. Why is Muslim so synonymous with creating crisis?? 3 Likes |

I'm muslim and I support the church's position on this. The Hijab has been unfortunately politicized as an iconography synonymous with islam. Therefore, the position of the missionary schools, in this context, is quite understandable. 2 Likes |

Kdon2: As in ehn! Those guys are the most war and trouble mongering set of humans on this planet! They just love causing chaos, troubles, commotions, wars, shedding blood e.t.c. What they are currently doing in Kwara is what Yoruba refer to as "Ija Ebi (Unjust fight)". And they are very cunny set of people. If a seer should tell me that Covenant University would be an Islamic University in the future, I wouldn't argue or disbelieve. I know those guys (Muslims) and their capabilities very well. Once they infiltrate you, gradually and gradually, they start taking over from you cunningly. Before you realize what is going on, they will have taken 90% over from you, and by then no power from you to take back from them. The same approach they have been using since time immemorial. The annoying thing about we Christians is these "Love preaching", "Vengeance is of God preaching", and "Leaving Fight for God thing". I am not against those preachings, don't get me twisted! But at times, following those teachings is not applicable in some situations. There are times you need to fight, afterall the Bible says, "There is time for everything". The best way to avoid happening like what's happening in Kwara now is to avoid it from the onset or beginning. Muslims shouldn't have been given admission in the first place in those schools. They would claim to be law-abiding at first. When their number is increasing then you see the true nature of Muslims. That's their tactic. I have lived with them and I know their tactic very well. CAN should not throw in the towel. They should keep on keeping on and I pray God will grant them victory. This is unjust and God is never a supporter of injustice! Modified 1 Like |

If the terrorists insist on the kids wearing hijab then all the Christian staff should resign. Let the terrorists teach themselves. |

Kdon2:You haven't answered my question bro, Nigeria is a secular nation right? Everyone has the right to dress in his own way, moreover, the Muslim schools in kwara state (a Muslim state) don't force Christian students to wear hijab, why should the Christian schools be forcing Muslim students to pull off hijab? If you're to be logical you should know you're the ones being mischievous here. As for your last point/question, because your mind has registered it that way, that's how you'll always see it, we saw wike demolishing a mosque last year claiming rivers is a Christian state you never opened your mouth to criticise him, but now, it's a Muslim that's involved it's violence, sense no go kee you my brother. |

Whoever wants to wear hijab should not be denied. Whoever is not obliged to should not be forced to do so. Missionary or public school. Everyone has a right of freedom of expression. Africans can be very petty over issues that should not be considered for debate |

The governor has lost it and only way out is to sell dummy to Muslim by enforcing hijab in all schools. Bukola Saraki and Abdul Fatai Ahmed would have done better in handling the situation. God will help us from our politicians fake policies. |

Kdon2: If it is true that Christians are mandated to wear hijab in Muslim missionary schools then they should be stopped from doing such so also Christian missionaries should not stop Muslims from wearing hijab in missionary schools. Let's be fai to ourselves |

Veqtor: Read about your history before you come to any conclusion. Did the Africans invite the colonial masters & their pet project called the missionaries ?. These colonial masters/ missionaries called your ancestors barbarians & destroyed their culture. Since after the independence instead of the Africans to live in love & harmony side by side these missionaries schools controlled by black are discriminating against their fellow blacks. Its on record Mary mother of Jesus covered her head, why are these Illuminati agents against morality but love showing unclothedness in the church. |

lafiagi007: Oh please the comparison is on point. You hinge hijab wearing on freedom to identify with their faith demands (which is a veneration of your god/prophet) supremely over the school’s which has always had berets as their dress code since inception but quick to downplay the Christian student from identifying with their own biblical demands. Your hypocrisy stinks. Tell me why there are mosques within most government offices in Kwara but no single chapel in any? You clowns give what you can’t take an inch of. 2 Likes |
