Tamunotonye22:Musa's case is different - Musa is the team's captain, - Musa didn't retire Ighalo retired from national football on reasons best known to him, he should enjoy his retirement in peace and let's the young ones continue from where he has stopped. Ighalo is a very good player but we've got other good players too that can fully fit into his shoes, so I see no reason why we should be arguing over this matter tbh 4 Likes |

smartsmith0907:If he's on the path to qualifying for the WC then sacking him for not winning Afcon would be an idiotic decision especially if we make the semis, because the WC play off starts few weeks after Afcon |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by jihday(m): 12:16am On Mar 07, 2021 |
12large1:Exactly, the best time to sack him is now and if we can't do it now just leave him till after WC unless we struggle during qualifiers |

andrewbaba44: The truth is, Brendan doesn't really rate Kelechi IMO. He played Ayoze when Vards went for an op despite Kelechi not letting them down when called upon, especially in Europe (3 in 7 I think playing with "Lesser" players) and disappointingly, he never praises Kelechi when due. The reporter lined up a question in the post-match interview about how important Kelechi was but Rodgers almost looked irritated! He turned to Vards contribution in response.. Guy can score..needs a manager that loves him 1 Like 1 Share |

This kelechi is so talented that I wish he can just add utmost professionalism, seriousness, work ethic and anger to his game and he might blow. If not, we might keep getting 3B 1G from him 4 Likes 1 Share |

Icon4s:You can see the spread across different zones. That is what those CAF Officials want, rather than having Nigeria, Ghana, CIV and Senegal representing Africa It is a pitty the word would have to chose one from Nigeria, Ghana and CIV. This system of qualification can never give Africa the best. 3 Likes |

Adesanya's loss shows that weight and muscle mass can make all the difference in a fight. Blachowicz used his size effectively on the ground. Decent fight. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Ppogbae: 7:37am On Mar 07, 2021 |
Size is huge in combat sports. Blachowicz went down to 205 just before weigh in, but after rehydration and eating right before the fight, he could've easily gone up to 220. Adesanya at most could only reach 200. If you're moving up a division, you better be ready to put on some muscle mass and size. |

nairalandankrah: I think Rodger knows Nacho is good but he does not like him for whatever reason best known to him. I hope this is Nacho's last season there and also hopes Ndidi leaves that club. Nacho's handlers must seek a team that will sign on paper they will give Nacho playing time. 1 Like |

12large1:. If the coach thinks nacho is not serious or have bad attitude like you want us to assume, he should allows him to leave the club for regular playing time. He scored a fantastic goal last night and a reporter asked Brenda his thought about nacho stepping up. Instead of Brenda to answer the damn question, he dribbled his way to vardy. Na vardy dem ask am about?. I'm sure he will look for a way to bench nacho. |
